Chapter 2 (Katie's POV)

The next week flew by with Classes and work, lunch dates with friends. But pretty soon I was sitting in a chair, with Dani at my closet picking out something for me to where clubbing tonight.

"Yes! It's a winner" She says bringing out the silver cocktail dress I wore to my cousins 18th.

"Really?" I say truly asking.

"Yes it is perfect, now go put it on tute sweet." Dani states kicking me as I get off my stool.

We get to the club and the lights are swirling, music pumping and everyone is either drinking or dancing. Dani and I had planned to arrive around the same time as everyone but since we had to drive three hours to get here, our timing wasn't too good.

So we order two drinks and start off the night.

However we were only half way through our first drink when Nick and Cole arrive with their mate Jesse.

"Who else is coming?" Jesse screams over the music.

"Just a few others, why?" I smiled

"I have an extra mate coming, hope you don't mind? He said he was going here tonight anyway and I said he could hang with us." He smiled back.

"Shouldn't be a problem" I screamed back as more people arrived.

Soon we were a table of ten and were just waiting on Jesse's mate, so we four girls decided to go to the dance floor.

Here Dani, Ali, Ashley and I could truly enjoy our self's because we all have good moves on the dance floor.

Ash and Ali have been friends of ours since the start of high school, but we don't see each other as much anymore because they go to a different UNI.

So here we are in the middle of Newcastle at a club just to catch up with friends... and drink... and have a good time.

The seven boys soon join us on the dance floor, I don't recall who Jesse's friend is because the music is too catchy and the lights are too bright.

Dani begins to dance up against Cole and Ash orders some shots, so soon we are stumbling as opposed to dancing and decide it might be best to sit down.

The eleven of us go back to our V.I.P booth and order some water before making some introductions.

"Ok so first Jesse this is Ash, Ali, Dani, Katie, Nick, Adam, Kyle and Damien" Cole introduces.

"Some of you I know from earlier, but hi to everyone else. Thus is my mate Elliot and I am Jesse." People chorus HI's and Hello's as our waters were finished.

Dani and Ash begin to complain to their boyfriends Cole and Damien that they miss the dance floor, so soon all of us are made to get up and dance again.

Many more shots are passed out and soon some people are slurring their talking...I mean words. We have ended up back at our table and some of the group have found random people and they are making out, or they are a couple and are making out. This leaves Kyle, Jesse, Ali, Elliot and myself at the table talking.

Ali stands announcing a trip to the bathroom and I follow her, passing Dani on the way, who follows too, leaving Cole with Nick and some random.

"Have you seen how much that guy is staring at you?" Ali slurs,

"What are you talking about?" I slur back.

"That guy... you know the one Jesse brought with him... Elot?"

"You mean Elliot yeah I have noticed it to, he is so into you, I told you that dress would attract the right attention!" Dani says drunkenly.

"Oh ahahaha very fun!" I reply

"Seriously, look I dare you to get on that dance floor again, show your moves, show you're interested and I bet you will be in his bed by the end of the night!" Ali speaks.

"Ok guys whatever, he is cute and all, but I don't think he likes me." I say

"So you do think he is hot! And honey please guys have been drooling over you since 7th grade when you started getting those Guy magnets" Ali said gesturing to my breasts.

"Hey, ok whatever I will prove you's wrong" I say letting the alcohol take over.

We walk out of the bathroom and to the table which now has Cole, Nick, 'random', Jesse, Kyle, Elliot, Ali, Dani and I at it.

I look to Nick and tell him to get a room playfully, as he rubs his hand up this girl's thigh.

Dani drags Cole and Kyle while Ali and I drag Jesse, Nick, Elliot and 'girl' to the dance floor. I have no idea where Ash and Damien have vanished to.

We start dancing and soon Ali is up next to Kyle and Jesse, dancing together and that leaves myself and Jesse's mate dancing singly. I let into what my hormones are screaming at me and begin to dance closer to him. His eyes rise in surprise but he silently agrees and begins to dance as well.
