Chapter 4

Chapter 4 (Katie's POV)

The sun shows on my white blanket, splattered with yellow, proving the reason for my headache. What happened last night? Oh that's right, Dani made me go clubbing.

Oh well I guess I had a good night... then it hits me, I feel the covers next to me and thank god no male or person is in my bed with me!

I walk to the kitchen and make a cup of coffee whilst grabbing some pain killers. With my cup I walk into the lounge room to turn the TV on and there sleeps the guy from last night.... Jesse's friend, um Ethan, no Elliot.

He lays peacefully, blonde hair very messy as he snores quietly. Having a good look he actually is pretty cute but the question is... why is he on my lounge?

I walk into Dani's room and wish I didn't, seriously do these two ever warn me? I close the door and decide to wash my sheets and blanket instead.

Once the task is over I brave Dani's room again but to my relief Cole is in the shower in the on suit and Dani is putting PJ pants on.

"Morning" Dani says through a yawn.

"Morning to you! Maybe next time put a cowboy hat on the door or something, so I don't walk in and see Cole's junk." I say laughing.

"Whoops, sorry Guess last night was pretty wild! So where is he?"

"Who?"

"Elliot" She clarifies

"Oh him, what happened?"

"You can't remember?"

"No"

"Well go ask him, or is he still asleep?"

"Yeah on the lounge..." I say confused.

"Oh he didn't want to sleep in your bed while you were drunk, thought he was taking advantage of you or something. I then got carried away to here and well you know the rest of the story." Dani says cheekily, straightening her bed spread.

We creep into the lounge room slowly to wake Elliot up, but he is not there. Emerging from the kitchen comes the walking Greek god himself.

"Ah hey, just grabbing some coffee" Elliot smiles showing his cup,

"Hi, ah yeah no worries" I reply.

"Ok you two need to talk I am going to go get in a shower" Dani speaks.

"Cole is still in there" I say

"I know" she winks and runs off like a little girl that has found fairy floss.

"Well she isn't afraid of speaking her mind is she?" Elliot asks.

"She never has been" I laugh

"And neither have you, so tell me what are you thinking?"

"I don't know really I have so many thoughts running through my hea-hang on what do you mean and neither have you...how would you know?" I ask.

"We-well it's difficult, why don't you sit down?"

I sat emmediently and looked up at Elliot confused.

"Um ok this is interesting... well ok when you were a young girl, you spent a lot of time on a swing set as a child with a young boy...around your age...."

It was at this point my mouth fell open and everything started to fall into place... An Elliot that is my age, blonde hair, lives in Newcastle....but how? The Elliot I new is dead!

"Hang on if your that little boy then myself and all my friends are seeing a ghost... so either you are a ghost or you're a stalker and you have been stalking me for a very long time!" I said beginning to feel a lot of anger building.

"Calm down Katie Kat..."

"DONT CALL ME THAT only certain people call me that" I scream.

"I was a certain person once upon a time, I was your only person, your best friend!" He says calmly.

This is to confusing... to strange... to impossable.

"If you really are the boy-man I knew then tell me one thing no one knows about me?" I say.

He thought a moment and with his blue eyes wide said,

"You and I believed our primary school blouses and uniforms were itchy but we didn't care, because our mothers put so much effort into choosing our school."

My mouth fell open again and I couldn't speak at all.... the first thing that came into my mind was....

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE YOU CREEP!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Just listen to me, I am not lying and I am no stalker." he said remaining calm.

"I don't want to hear this anymore GET OUT!"

Cole and Dani ran out of Dani's room in towels asking what had happened and what was going on.

"He is a fucking stalker and I want him OUT OF THIS HOUSE!" I screamed.

"Kitty listen..." Elliot reasoned

"Don't you dare use that nickname" I said sobbing with tears coming to my eyes.

Dani was at my side in two seconds rubbing my arms and holding me up, before I collapse. Cole went towards Elliot, with a hand moving to his shoulder and told him to back off.

"Just please for me, call your parents if you don't believe me, they know the truth. I will be patient take your time, I will be waiting for you...always!" He says sadly and leaving a piece of paper on the table, he grabs his jacket and leaves.

"Cole what does the piece of paper say?" Dani asks as she hugs me.

"It's a phone number" Cole says passing it to me.

I put it in my pocket and Dani asks for a full run down, I shake my head and walk slowly to my room. Leaving Dani and Cole helpless in the lounge.

A million emotions hit me at once and I suddenly feel confused and outraged, scared and annoyed. I don't know what to feel, what do I do, what do I think? There is only one thing I can think to do, I need the truth!
