Chapter 15

Chapter 15 (Elliot's POV)

"I still don't know about this guys, what if she doesn't like it?" Cole says backstage, shaking.

"Man calm down you have been rehearsing for what a week now? Your remix says everything you want to say and I will hold her in her seat, somehow. Trust me she will love it..... and love you!" Jesse says trying to calm Cole down.

Katie texted me earlier and it seems as if Dani wanted to go out tonight, so I may have nudged them to this bar, so Cole can sing a song for Dani and confess his love. It is kind of sweet really but if Dani doesn't like it then my head is going to be on the chopping block for this.

Jesse spots the two girls walk in and rubs his hands together,

"Show time" He says.

We walk over to where they have sat and I put my hands on Katie's shoulders, she spins around with her fist clenched and I laugh when she realises it is me. Dani asks how we are and Jesse and I sit down saying we decided to surprise them and we order some drinks.

A little while later I know that Cole is the next performance so I try to lighten the mood with a joke. But all of us fall silent when he walks on stage, the girls looked stunned. Jesse places a protective arm around Dani to keep her in the seat as Cole sits down on stage.

"This is for one girl in the crowd, she knows who she is. I love you 'D' and I would never ever hurt you." He says smoothly and I look to Dani, she is shocked but seems relaxed, watching the stage.

He sings as rehearsed and the songs together truly do sound amazing and express what he wanted to say. When it finishes it seems to have a good effect on Dani as she stands and walks to the stage. Jesse and I exchange a look and it seems as if Dani is going to kiss Cole and forgive him....that was quick.

But no Dani...the bad ass she is, slap's Cole across the face and says,

"Well maybe next time you'll think before you cheat" It must be lyrics to some song because every girl in the club starts to clap and Dani is helped off the stage.

Eyes blazing Katie turns to me,

"What the Fuck, that was such a dick move, from all of you." She screams before running after a saddened Dani.

Fuck! Fuck! I am screwed. Jesse and I walk forward and help Cole off the stage, girls still screaming things at him about cheating. One girl walks up and throws a drink on him, but Jesse and I keep walking and try to cheer him up once we are in the car.

"At least you sang it well" Jesse says as he drives us back to his place.

I laugh but Cole stays quiet, I think I saw a tear escape his eye, but then again he is soaked with alcohol.

We get to Jesse's place and walk inside, as I hoist Cole up the stairs my phone buzzes.

I answer Katie's call and she sounds determined,

"You lot have one chance, do you hear, cancel any plans you, Damien, Jesse and Cole have tomorrow and be over here at 11! Do you understand me?" She finishes and I look to the guys.

My phone is on loud speaker and Jesse and Cole answer 'yes' in desperation before I end the call with a 'yes ma'am' and hang up.

"You see man it is all going to be fine" Jesse says confidently as we put him on the lounge to recover.

Jesse and I go to the kitchen and come back with coffee for Cole but he has fallen asleep on the lounge. I cover him with a blanket and call Damien about the plans for tomorrow before crashing on Jesse's other couch.
