Peace can be found in many things. In the sunshine or a gentle breeze on a hot day, in the consistency of a good routine, or waking up in the morning next to the person you love.
It's something that Sheila is so used to now, spending the night with Harry, but she never takes it for granted. She's aware of just how safe he makes her feel and how herself she is around him.
"How did you sleep darling?" He asks when his eyes flutter open.
She stretches and props herself up against the headboard, saying, "Good, the bed is very comfy. How about you?"
"I slept great," he replies, wrapping his arms around a pillow and nuzzling into it.
They lounge around for a bit, scrolling on their phones before getting up to get ready for the day. Harry's kept most of what they're doing a secret, but she trusts him and she's sure whatever he has planned will be great.
He told her to dress casual and comfortable, that they'll be doing a bit of walking, but nothing that required hiking shoes. She decides to dress in a pair of pink short overalls with a loose white t-shirt underneath. It's not something she'd typically wear, but she likes to change things up a bit when she's away.
Harry's wearing jeans and a loose button up short sleeve shirt. It's not a Hawaiin shirt, he hasn't broken those out yet, but it is a cream colored knit-like shirt and he looks incredible. She's a bit taken back by it. He's always so stunning.
"Wow, you look," she huffs, stopping just to stare at him.
He laughs and grabs a pair of sunglasses and uses them to push his curls back.
"What about you?" He asks, grabbing her hand to hold her at arm's length and give her a once over. "Never seen you wear anything like this before."
"Do you like it?" She asks.
"You look beautiful as always darling. This is just softer," he comments.
"Yeah it is I guess," she replies, lacing their hands together as they leave their Airbnb. "I like to explore a bit more when I'm away, try out new things without everyone I know and care about there to give me their opinions on it."
"Make up your own mind about it," he says.
"Exactly and you make me feel safe enough to be able to try new things," she says.
He lifts up her hand to kiss the back of it. "I'm so glad, love," he replies.
Harry keeps his hand clasped in hers to guide her to their first stop of the day and brings her past his car. She's not too surprised, they're less than a half mile away from the town's main street and the weather is so lovely it would actually be a shame to miss out on it by driving.
They walk for about 15 minutes before they stop outside a bookstore.
"You have ten minutes to pick out the best book you can find for me and I do the same for you. Go!" Harry shouts and bursts into the store.
She's stunned for a second before she follows him. She opens the door to hear his loud giggling as he moves his way through the aisles quickly.
She has no idea where to start. She doesn't really want to go for a history book, feeling like it would be too obvious. She looks down the aisles, trying her best to avoid Harry as he does the same. She lands on an end cap and sees the somewhat new The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. She knows he hasn't read it yet because of how busy he's been with the semester coming to a close.
They streamed the movie together the second it became available since they couldn't go to the movies together. They considered it since it's dark and if they showed up separately it might be okay, but ultimately it didn't feel worth the risk. They'll have their time.
