Mornings bring about something fresh and new and beautiful. No matter how good or bad a day is, another morning will come, which is great, except when they come earlier than they need to.

Sheila wakes up an hour before her alarm with a quiet groan, trying not to wake Ava up. She closes her eyes and begs for sleep to pull her back under, but after 15 minutes of trying to trick herself she gives up and grabs her phone.

With none of her friends awake at this ungodly hour she finds it to be less than entertaining and puts it back on her nightstand. She turns over to look at Ava, hoping that by some miracle she's awake, but she finds her bed empty.

Curious, she gets up to see if Ava's in the bathroom or in the kitchen getting water or something. She's never up this early, no less on a Friday, so Sheila quietly sneaks into the living room to scope the place out. She finds her laying on the couch and she's not alone.

Though Sheila is trying her best to be quiet and retreat without being seen, Ava still lifts her head up and her eyes widen when she sees Sheila. Ava looks back and forth between August's naked chest and Sheila's sleep rumpled appearance. She gives Sheila a nervous look, points to the kitchen, and then carefully gets up.

"Have a good date?" Sheila teases, leaning back against the kitchen counter. There's no bite to her words, she's more entertained than anything else.

"Ha ha," Ava says, rolling her eyes. "It got late and I didn't want him to drive home. It wouldn't be safe."

"So naturally that meant he had to get naked on our couch," Sheila trails off.

"He's not naked, he has on boxers. I think," she says, turning around to look into the living room.

"Ava," she shrieks. "Did you guys do it on our couch?"

"No, of course not. We have some standards. We had sex in the bathroom," she says with a shrug.

Sheila freezes for a second at the admission and then she busts out laughing. She doesn't care that they had sex. Intimacy is a part of a healthy relationship and between both her and August both having roommates their options are limited. That being said she doesn't really want to sit on the same couch they did it on.

"I'm not into exhibitionism, that's you," Ava accuses.

"What? Who ever said I'm into that?" She shrieks.

"No one," Ava says with a laugh. "I just wanted you to be as embarrassed as I feel right now."

"You don't have to be embarrassed, Aves. If anything I'm a little jealous. Not of August but in general, but you two being all happy ya know," she says, waving her hands aimlessly in the air.

"That makes sense. You want to be with someone," Ava replies.

"Yeah it's been a dry season," Sheila says with a shrug.

"Happens to the best of us," she says sympathetically.

"Well anyway, no time for sadness. Get back to your boy," Sheila says, shooing her away.

"You okay? You can come cuddle with us," Ava offers.

"I don't think August would care for that too much," she says with a laugh.

"Maybe not but offer's still open," Ava says.

Sheila smiles and hugs her friend. "Thank you and you guys can stay in our room you know," she says.

"Yeah?" She asks.

"Of course. Just no sex in our room while I'm sleeping in it okay?" Sheila says with a wince.
