The next day, the professor stood at the front of the lecture hall with a clipboard, his expression a mix of authority and exhaustion.

"Attention, everyone," he said, tapping the microphone. "Tomorrow is the fresher's party, and as seniors, it's your responsibility to make the event memorable. That means welcoming the juniors and decorating the entire university."

A collective groan rippled through the students.

"Memorable?" Taehyung whispered to Jungkook, who was sitting nearby. "I could set off fireworks in the hall. That'd be memorable."

"Memorable and legal," Jungkook muttered back, scribbling notes. "Why do I feel like this is going to turn into a disaster?"

"Because it will," Hoseok said from behind, popping his head between the two.

The professor cleared his throat, glaring at the murmuring students. "I'll be assigning roles. No complaints. And I want the best decorations this university has ever seen. Or else."

Taehyung leaned back, smirking. "Sounds like fun. What do you think, noisy bunny?"

Jungkook ignored him, focusing intently on the professor, silently praying he wouldn't be saddled with Taehyung again.

"Jeon Jungkook, you're in charge of coordinating the medical department," the professor announced.

Jungkook exhaled in relief. At least he had his own team.

"And Kim Taehyung, you'll lead the engineering department's efforts. Both of you will oversee the main hall decorations together."

Jungkook's head snapped up. "What?"

Taehyung grinned, leaning forward. "Guess we're teammates again, bunny."

The professor raised a hand. "And no bickering. If I hear one complaint, you'll both lose points for your final grades."

Taehyung turned to Jungkook, his grin widening. "Looks like we're stuck together, partner."

Jungkook groaned, sinking into his seat. "This is going to be a nightmare."

The planning began immediately after class, with the two departments clashing almost instantly.

"The theme should be futuristic," Taehyung argued, sketching a spaceship on a piece of paper.

"No, it should be elegant," Jungkook countered, holding up his own sketch of a floral arrangement.

"Elegant?" Taehyung said, raising an eyebrow. "What are we, at a wedding?"

"And what are we with your theme? At NASA?"

Their teams watched from the sidelines, exchanging amused glances as the argument escalated.

"Fine," Taehyung said, crossing his arms. "Let's compromise."

"Compromise?" Jungkook repeated suspiciously.

"Yeah. A futuristic wedding."

Jungkook stared at him. "That's the dumbest idea I've ever heard."

Taehyung shrugged. "Well, at least it's not boring."

"Boring works," Jungkook muttered, rubbing his temples.

"Alright, break it up," Hoseok said, stepping between them. "Let's just combine both ideas and call it a day. Futuristic elegance or whatever."

---

By evening, the two departments had managed to settle on a hybrid theme. Lights, flowers, and metallic accents began to take over the hall.

"See?" Taehyung said, hanging a glowing orb from the ceiling. "My idea wasn't so bad after all."

"Just don't drop that on anyone," Jungkook said, arranging a row of centerpieces.

Taehyung grinned. "Relax, bunny. What's the worst that could happen?"

A loud crash echoed from the other side of the hall as someone knocked over a pile of decorations.

Jungkook glared at Taehyung. "Why do you even say things like that?"

Taehyung shrugged, laughing. "Keeps things interesting."
