Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung have been enemies for as long as they can remember, their families' rivalry shaping their entire lives.
Their constant bickering quickly escalates into something deeper. As they compete in games and challenges, their a...
The sun was shining brightly, and campus life was buzzing as usual. Both Taehyung and Jungkook had developed a system to avoid crossing paths, ensuring their friends didn’t see each other and spark another argument. It was exhausting, but neither wanted to risk another cafeteria showdown.
That morning, Taehyung was heading toward the art department. His plan was simple: avoid the cafeteria and stick to his route. But his phone buzzed.
Jungkook: “Don’t go to the main hallway. My friends are there.”
Taehyung groaned. His original path was now off-limits.
Taehyung: “Fine. I’ll take the longer route through the library. But tell your friends to stay out of the east wing later.”
Jungkook replied with a thumbs-up emoji.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was also navigating campus like it was a minefield. He’d just stepped out of the gym when he spotted Wooshik and bogum near the fountain. His heart sank.
“Why now?” he muttered, quickly turning back toward the science building.
But his phone buzzed again.
Taehyung: “my friends are near the fountain. Avoid it.”
Jungkook smirked. “Too late,” he mumbled, typing back.
Jungkook: “Already spotted them. Taking the science route. Don’t go near the cafeteria; my friends are there.”
The day continued with both of them dodging and weaving through campus like secret agents. At one point, Taehyung accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up near the music department, where Jungkook’s friends were practicing.
He immediately froze. “Abort mission,” he whispered to himself, quickly ducking into a janitor’s closet.
His phone buzzed.
Jungkook: “me and my friends near the art gallery. Avoid it.”
Taehyung: “Noted. But I’m currently hiding in a closet near the music building. Thanks for the warning.”
Jungkook: “Why are you always hiding in closets? Just walk confidently.”
Taehyung: “Says the guy who spent 20 minutes in the gym shower to avoid my friends.”
Jungkook: “Touché.”
By lunchtime, both of them were starving but hesitant to enter the cafeteria. They texted again.
Taehyung: “Are you and your friends still there?”
Jungkook: “Yep".
Taehyung: “ok. Meet at the vending machine near the library instead?”
Jungkook: “On my way.”

When they finally met at the vending machine, they both looked like they’d run a marathon. Taehyung bought a can of iced coffee while Jungkook grabbed a chocolate bar.
“This is ridiculous,” Taehyung muttered, leaning against the wall.
“Tell me about it,” Jungkook replied, unwrapping his chocolate. “We’re basically prisoners on our own campus.”
“Your friends started it,” Taehyung pointed out.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. “Excuse me? Yours are the ones who can’t let go of a basketball game!”
Taehyung sighed. “Fine. They’re all stubborn. Happy?”
“Not really,” Jungkook said, taking a bite of his chocolate.
They stood there in silence for a moment before Taehyung broke it. “We need a better plan.”
Jungkook nodded. “Agreed. How about this: I’ll keep my friends away from the gym area. You keep yours out of the library wing.”
“Deal,” Taehyung said, holding out his hand.
They shook hands quickly before parting ways, each heading back to their separate worlds, knowing this truce was as fragile as glass.
