A Bridge Between Our Worlds

In every universe, in every world of possibilities, there is a girl, short for status and respect who meets someone who has an overflowing amount of both. 

In every possible outcome, they will share a blossoming love for one another.

And every time they are happy together.

However, if one of them is not in that world or departs too soon from it, the other must follow her.

Similarly, a boy will succumb to abuse and exploitation from his mother but be saved and meet another boy who tries to help everyone whilst keeping a smile plastered on his face.

They will also have a life together.

But, there are only a handful of universes where they remain happy.

Unlike the girls, if one of them doesn't exist in that world or leaves it early, the other will have to live a full life alone.

Sometimes, the pairs meet and stick together. Sometimes, they will never see or hear the other two. And sometimes, they are sworn enemies.

No matter, in this universe. The girls grow old together and start their own family. The boys will live a bittersweet life of happiness and hardships. They both will survive and die in each other's arms after living for as long as they can.

After everything, no matter if they live in the ocean, are born into a life of despair, rule their world as gods or simply work a nine to five, they have always accomplished something great. Who care what that might be? At least in that moment, they have all experienced happiness.

And so, this is where this universe ends. After the last traces of the four have been entirely scrubbed away, all that is left is a reader. A reader who stuck around to the very end. For better or for worse, you stuck around to see these four grow. Whether or not this universe makes any sense or is simply an idea that you might develop to be your own, I thank you sincerely for your time.
