"Ok students , settle down now." It took quite a while for us to get completely silent. I pulled up an empty desk next to Shane. Ellie was on the other side of him. "So I hear we have a new student, can you just wave wherever you are." He began searching for me so I did a small wave and he gestured me to come to the front of the class. "So what's your name, and tell us a little bit about yourself " he asked me. "Well, umm my names Shemaine Garcia, but people call me emi. I came from Texas and I also grew up there. I think some I was about 5 or 6." I continued "Umm, I'm also Black and Spanish."
"Oh interesting. Well your welcome to our school, You may go and sit down now." Sir said. "Oh I almost forgot to introduce myself, my name is Mr scinchel and as you may know I work in the maths department." He said. I nodded to him and made my way back to my seat.

Mr scinchel gave us our work to do and we all started. "So, emi, did you enjoy Texas?" Shane asked me. I turned around to answer him, " yeah Texas was really nice I mean I've lived there for a really long time so it's my life really. But Cali is Ite." I answered him. He nodded. Ellie began eyeing me, what did she want? I thought. When I saw her for the first time I knew what type of girl she was. Ugh, girls these days. "Um Shane I think she needs you." I told him. Before he turned around to talk to Ellie, he made a face which made me certain that he didn't like her.

I didn't care about them, so I continued to do my work. Then the bell went. "Enjoy your next lesson students!" He bellowed. But nobody answered him. I already thought that I had some big things for this school.

Shane pov

There was this new girl in my class. Damn she was fine. She kept me smiling the whole time. In Francisco heights I'm a bad nigga that girls love. Well, some of them I think are fine, others are just hoes that need to find a life. But Emi, she...she just got me speechless man. She was different you see. She was an average sized and had beautiful light brown eyes, I wasn't sure whether her hair was weave or real. I just couldn't get my eyes of her. I was sure imma make her ma wifey one day. (loool)
