We all parked are cars in the front yard. I lead the way to the front door. I put my key in the lock and opened the door. "Hey mum" I said as I locked the door. "Hey, darling. Oooh I see all your friends and your all clinging to a guy." My mum said as I hugged her. They all introduced themselves to my mum. Then we went upstairs to watch movies. "Omg, Emi your mum is so pretty. How does she keep her shape?!" Alyssa said. I giggled "And how old did you say she was?" Jordan asked "37" I told him.

"Babe, your mums good for her age" Shay told me while we were watching Ted. "Thanks" I whispered. "Babe, can I meet your parents one day." "You wouldn't want to." He told me. "Why?" I asked while sitting up a bit. "My Mums a crack head that lives in San Diego. And as for my dad he died when I was 4." I saw the sadness in his eyes. "Oh Shay I'm so sorry I didn't know, im sorry for bei--" "it's ok I'm gonna go ok." "Shay I'm sorry!" I semi yelled. He just left the room leaving everybody speechless. "Um Emi were gonna go check up on him. " Jordan and Sam said. "Ok, tell him I'm sorry." I said. Alyssa and Jada were going to stay with me. I've never seen Shay like that I guess he doesn't like talking about his family.
"Emi it's ok" my mum said. "Just don't worry he will come back." I nodded and wiped my tears. Jada Alyssa and I went back upstairs. "You know you dont have to stay behind." I told them.
"Its what best friends do." Jada said. "Thanks" I said pulling them into a hug. "Girl you should call him" Alyssa said. "You sure?" And they just nodded. I unlocked my phone and opened recent calls. I dialled shay's number and he answered on the 3rd ring.

I know I'm the last person you wanna talk to but I just wanna tell you I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ask you about your parents, I should have just shut up.
Nah it's ok. It's just that I don't like talking about my father. I'm sorry I stormed out like that babe.

I smiled at Jada and Alyssa. "Told ya girl" Alyssa said. I left her and ran downstairs to my mum. "Mum,mum!! Shay's coming back. We forgave each other" "that's good, I told you he would run back."
