"But you still like him?"

Beomgyu flinched. Does he still like Soobin?Why was this question giving him a headache? It can't be.. right?

Do I? No.. right? But kinda? I don't know..

After a moment, he finally nodded.

"I guess.. a little."

Yeonjun raised an eyebrow. A little? Beomgyu looked like he was about to fall on the floors and beg for Soobin to take him back earlier.

"I don't think it's just a little mate."

Beomgyu pouted even more before gently slamming his head on the table.

"You're right.. what am I going to do?.."

Yeonjun chuckled at the sight. He sat down next to Beomgyu before placing a hand on his back.

"Try talking to him."

Beomgyu finally looks up, making eye contact with Yeonjun.

"What if he doesn't want to.."
"He does."

"Soobin-ah!"

Soobin turned around and smiled as he saw the familiar face.

"Hey, Yeonjun hyung."
"What happened yesterday? How could you even make him cry?"

Yeonjun hits Soobin playfully as an attempt to teach him a lesson. Although he's still curious about the answer, how could he make Beomgyu cry? What did he say to make him cry like that?

"I just.. talked to him and all of a sudden he broke down."

Yeonjun's expression softened at that. He patted Soobin's head before speaking again.

"Sometimes when you break someone too hard, they'll take it too hard."

Soobin turned his gaze to Yeonjun.

"I know.. and it was really irresponsible of me to just break up with him all of a sudden."

Yeonjun's hand moved from Soobin's head down to his back, rubbing it gently.

"Don't take it too hard on yourself. Besides, it's not like he's mad at you. Right?"

Soobin nodded, but there was something in his eyes. Guilt.

"Yea.. and that's what frustrates me. The fact that he doesn't get mad at anyone."

Beomgyu has always been too nice and naive. That's the main reason Soobin broke up with him, he's too naive to reject anyone. And maybe he felt that Beomgyu only accepted him because he was too worried about hurting his feelings.

Finally, they're at their next class. English. They continued to chat while walking in together, not noticing how everyone was whispering about them.

"Psst.. look. Soobin's here.."
"Why's he with another guy.. shouldn't he be comforting Beomgyu?"
"Nah, Beomgyu's just too weak.."

Soobin finally snaps out of his thoughts, overhearing the conversation between the two girls. He was embarrassed. Ashamed even.

He finally looked up from the floor, only to see Beomgyu and Hueningkai, chatting comfortably- as always.

Yeonjun noticed how Soobin was slightly bothered by how close they were. They were always close of course, but it seems that he didn't really like the tension between them.

"Mind if I steal your seat?"

Hueningkai looked up and met gazes with Yeonjun. He wasn't alone though, Soobin was behind him. Eyes widened in surprise.

"Uh.. sure."
"Thanks Hueningie."

Beomgyu couldn't process what just happened. One moment he was talking with Hueningkai, and now he was sitting with Yeonjun while his best friend was sitting with Soobin.

"So.. why'd you want to switch seats?"

Yeonjun shrugged.

"Nothing much, just wanted Soobin to snap out of his jealous thoughts."

Beomgyu raised an eyebrow. Soobin was jealous? Of Hueningkai? His best friend?

"That can't be true-"

But before he could even finish, Yeonjun cut him off.

"Beomgyu. I think you should find someone else that suits you."
"W-what?"

Yeonjun shrugged again.

"I'm just saying.. y'know? Soobin doesn't seem to love you like he used to anymore."

Ouch. That hurt. Truth hurts..

"I.. I'm not giving up just yet."

"So.. got any plans on how to get him back?"

Soobin's eyes widened. Why was Hueningkai asking him that?

"What do you mean?.."
"Just saying y'know? If you wanna secure him, maybe try harder."

Hueningkai didn't hate Soobin. He despised him. Mainly because he was consistently talking with Taehyun, which made him sick.

"You didn't have to act so rude.."
"Oh was I? Do you want a cookie?"

He was not having it. But he couldn't deny that this was very unlike his usual self. He was bubbly, kind, sweet, anything a human could want. Yet in this moment, he was the complete opposite. And he hated himself for it. He hated himself for acting rude towards a person that didn't do anything wrong. He hated himself for acting this way just because of a mere crush. He hated himself.

"Just.. don't talk to me."
