Soobin immediately stuffed everything into his backpack, he wanted to get out as soon as possible. Not because it was English class, but because Hueningkai looked like he was about to eat him alive.

He grabbed his backpack and was about to leave when suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder, stopping him from leaving.

He turned around only to meet gazes with none other than-

"Beomgyu.."

Beomgyu let out a soft chuckle before letting go of his shoulder.

"Hi.. hyung."

Soobin tried to keep a calm expression, but his loud heartbeats and sweaty palms were betraying him.

"I-is something wrong?"

Beomgyu shook his head, though he wasn't fine at all. He was far from fine in fact.

"Can we.. meet up after school?"

Hueningkai never thought he would be in the place he was at right now. God.. just the cold stare from the woman in front of him would give him shivers.

"We've received a complaint that you have been very rude to students lately."

Hueningkai couldn't bring himself to look up, he was embarrassed. He was ashamed. Maybe love is just as bad as everyone says it is. He should've taken it as a warning when his best friend was broken countless times. But he didn't, he chose to love instead.

"I..I apologise Principal Hwang."
"You'll have detention this week."
"I understand..."

As he walked out of the principal's office, he felt everyone's judgy stares right away. Everyone was oooh~ (ing) and whispering, it was probably going to be a new juicy gossip. The perfect school prince getting detention.

Tears were starting to stain his rosy cheeks, how could he let this happen? He had been in a bad mood recently and failed to control his emotions. He let his guard down and in return, he's getting the punishment he deserves.

"Hueningie.."

He turned around, making eye contact with a red haired boy standing in front of him. Except this time, he didn't feel the spark or the weird feeling he always gets in his stomach.

"What happened?"

Taehyun immediately dug through his backpack for a handkerchief before reaching out to gently wipe away the burning tears on his cheeks.

Hueningkai flinched at the sudden kindness. Taehyun has always been kind, no doubt. But this felt different, it felt like he was the only person in Taehyun's world. It felt special.

No.. I shouldn't feel this way.

He quickly snapped out of his thoughts before stuttering again.

"I-I'll wash it for you.."

Taehyun chuckled before gently ruffling his hair, he was acting as if his tears were mud.

"Don't worry about it."
"Are you sure?.."

Taehyun raised an eyebrow. Why wouldn't he be? After all, they weren't complete strangers.

"I'm sure Hueningie. Ah! Before I forget.."

He took something out of his pockets. Something small and fluffy.

"You left this in class last time."

Hueningkai stared at Taehyun's hands, in the middle of his palm laid his favourite plushie keychain.
