Small argument

"Beomgyu hyung."

The brown haired boy turned around at the mention of his name.

"Hueningie! Haven't seen you in a while."

Hueningkai looked.. stressed? Was it because of detention? No.. he wasn't like this before.. besides, Yeonjun also had detention, so they should at least have some company right?

"What's wrong?"

It didn't take longer than a second later that Hueningkai snapped. A side of the younger that Beomgyu had never seen before.

"Did you tell Taehyun that I liked him?!"

His eyes widened. Who would even expose him like that? But then again.. he was the only one who knew.. right?! So who else could've known? Who else could've even had the slightest idea-

Soobin hyung..

He was the only one that was considered close to Taehyun. He would've known, he would've known that Kai had feelings for his friend. But why on earth would he tell him?

"Hueningie.. just calm down.. I'm sure-"

"No! You were the only one who knew. How could you? You're a dumb idiot that can never do anything other than ruining my life!"

Poor guy was left stunned, his best friend was slowly turning into a monster. This wasn't the Hueningkai he knew, he had been acting really rude to people lately, and now he was raising his tone on him, calling him a useless idiot? Why?.. was it because of Taehyun? A small crush that made him turn into a jerk?

"Huening.. how could you even-"

He didn't even get to finish. His cheeks were burning red, a palm mark scattered across it. Did his best friend really just slap him?

Everyone was staring at this point, they were in the middle of the hallway, the place where one would come and go every second. The place where the rumours would start.

A tear drop.

It felt raw and burning, it felt heavy, like the weight of the younger's words was dying to be erased. He wasn't that much of a crybaby. Not in front of crowds. And especially not in a situation like this. Where everyone was staring. Where everyone was whispering.

He turned to face his best friend, yet in that moment, the word best friend didn't bother to hit his train of thoughts. Before his mind could even process everything that just happened, his hands moved on their own.

"Beomgyu don't!"

A familiar voice. He immediately stopped, just in time as it was about to hit the younger.

Did he see everything?..

The nurse office. The place where one would be at when they get sick. Where one would normally be at when they get into fights with their enemy.

Except they weren't enemies. They were best friends. They were the school's legendary duo. They were that two friends in school that rarely gets into arguments. You can't just start a fight with the person that you cherish more than anyone.

They were seated at least five miles away from each other. Slowly attempting to calm themselves down.

Beomgyu sat on the bed, slowly processing his thoughts from the harsh words Hueningkai simply blurted out to the point where Yeonjun came running to stop him from throwing the punch.

Soobin hyung knew right?..

"Why would you tell him?"

Soobin couldn't look at the older. He felt ashamed. He didn't mean to, yet the words spilled out without thinking. He immediately bursted into tears, something in him slowly snapping. Was it the thought that he always causes trouble everywhere he goes? Or maybe he was tired of hurting people?

"Please don't tell Huening? Please? You're my roommate, you wouldn't do that to me right?"

Yeonjun watched as the younger snapped in front of him. It wasn't easy to watch. A part of him wanted to keep it a secret. It was better that noone knew right? They're best friends, the argument wouldn't last long anyways. But why does it feel wrong? Was it right to leave the scar for it to heal on its own? What if it doesn't heal? What if they don't make up?

Countless thoughts crossed his mind. Which side should he take? Or rather which one was the right choice? He thought of different methods that would somehow benefit both, yet none seemed right. After thinking it through, he finally made up his mind.

"You owe me one."

He sighed as his words made it's way to the younger's ears. There was no going back now.

"Thank you thank you!! You're the best!"

Is this really the right choice?
