"I'm so sorry, but we only have one room available."

At the receptionist's words, you and Genya stood confused in the midst of the crowded lobby, fancy as if made for the bon-vivant. You always wandered how Genya was able to afford these seemingly expensive things, but right now, it seems to be as if he had forgotten to book the rooms.

"What? There must be a mistake." Your friend began. "I made sure to book my room as well as her's yesterday."
"I'm sorry, but there really is nothing booked under 'Genya Shinazugawa'or '(Y/N) Tokito', but if you both don't mind sharing, you could take the room we have free?"

At the lady's suggestion, you tilted your head whilst Genya blushed.
"But- how-, we're not even a couple!" He exclaimed, you resting a hand on his shoulder.
"Genya, it's not that big of a deal." You blankly told him. "I'll take the bed and you the floor. We can make it work."

In your response, the boy chuckled, then turned to the receptionist to book the room. However, though there were many in the space, and you knew yourself to be a popular figure, a feeling of warriness with a mix of unsettlement filled you.

You flickered your eyes all around the lobby, only to find nothing off or any strange, suspicious faces.

'I'm probably just tired...'

Upon entering the room, you immediately dropped your bag at one of the bed sides, took off your shoes, and plummeted face first on top of the double bed's white and fresh sheets.

The room was spacious and had a vibrant onsuit, being the only other room. The huge double bed lined up accordingly to the side of the room with an empty dresser opposite.

"Alright then, you can take the bed, and I'll get comfy on the floor." Hearing the male sound so sure of that, you turned your head to plainly stare at him.
"Genya, I was joking."

There was a silence throughout the room for a moment before your friend turned away towards the door, ears flushed and figure stiff.
"You're stupid! We can't share it, you idiot!"

You were beginning to have enough of his embarrassed and blushing-ness.
"Genya, if you are a decent person, and I am a decent person, and we stick to our own sides, then it doesn't matter." You sighed. "Right now, you're being stupid, idiot Genya."

"Shut up!" It was then that the Shinazugawa became calmer. "Moving on to a more serious note, who was that girl you were talking to earlier?"

Your mind flicked back to the figure of the hooded female. Her first appeared innocent and clumsy, then suddenly creepy and dangerously enigmatic.

"She had bumped into me at first, but after seeing who I was, she started asking me some weird questions about my opinions on quirks." You told Genya, him now turning in your direction with a finger on his chin.

"Quirks? Did you get her opinion?"
"By what she said, it sounded as if she didn't like them..." You said, deciding to leave out what you had 'mistakenly' waffled.
"Does she have one?" Genya then asked you, you shrugging.
"She wasn't clear."

You then stood up, approaching the windows to shut the blinds, stopping the night stars and moonlight from shining in. "I'm going to get ready for bed now."
