"Tanner, let go."

"No."

"I'm not messing around, let go right this instant."

"No."

"Guys!"

I grunted and tried my best to get off the ground, but it's hard to move when your arms are tied back and you're blind folded.

You're probably very confused why I'm blindfolded with my hands tied in what I assume is beach house with three obnoxious boys and what I hope is a dog that is licking my face; so I'll just start you off from the beginning and rewind about 4 hours.

It was a nice Friday in Mr. Fajtek's 4th period class. He had decided that we could have free time since it was Friday and he refuses to assign any homework on Fridays. This made me quite upset because I was really looking forward to Calculus homework (sue me, I like some busy work), so when everyone got with their friends and began socializing, I tried to sneak my way to the front of the class to see if I could get an extra worksheet for practice for the weekend--you know, just for practice--while no one was looking. But then, of course...I was caught.

A hand slammed down on the table in front of me right before I could grab the worksheet.

"Damn it." I curse under my breath and look up in the corner of my eye to see Tanner's disapprovingly shaking his head as he frowned.

"Oh don't tell me you're actually trying to get homework, Alex." Tanner shook his head and his dirty blonde hair fell over his eyes.

I tried my best to fake a laugh and shook my head a little too over-dramatically "Of course not! God, Tanner, do you really think that low of me? Ahahaha...Noooo way."

"You're obviously lying, Alex." Tanner pointed out.

"Am not." I countered, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Are too." He sang.

"Whatever," I admit "So I wanted one worksheet. What's the big deal? There's no harm in it to you."

"Wrong, actually." Tanner points a finger at me "If Mr. Fajtek catches you doing this, he'll want us all to take a worksheet home. And then everyone will be out to get you and I'll end up having to save your ass again."

"Again?" I look up at him "If anything, I've been saving your ass."

"Oh! Speaking of asses!" A voice cuts in--no excuse me, shrills in-- behind us, making my heart drop to the pit of stomach.

Carli giggles unreally and leans her arm over Tanner's shoulder "Are you going to the football game?"

"What does that even have to do with what we were talking about, Carli?" I roll my eyes "And no, I'm not going to waste a perfectly good Friday night at a stupid football game."

"Oh no, don't even get her started on her anti-football rant..." Tanner mumbled under his breath but quickly shut up after catching a glance of my death glare.

"First of all," Carli rolled her eyes in my direction "Asses have everything to do with football. Literally everything. And second of all, I wasn't talking to you," she poked me on my chest and whipped around unfortunately causing me to catch some of her long, blonde hair in my mouth "I was talking to Tanner." She plastered on her notorious fake Barbie smile and twirled her hair at Tanner as I pulled one long, blonde strand out of my mouth with disgust.

"Oh well if Alex isn't going, then I'm definitely not going." Tanner says, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
