Chapter 1 ~ Secrets Revealed

I walked up the stairs to my new apartment. I was going to be living alone in London for a few weeks but, my best friend Cassie would be coming to live with me in a couple of weeks. So until then we would Skype. I unlocked the door and walked in. It was pretty big. It had all the basics. Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 lounge and one spare bedroom but we would probably use that as the game room or something. I walked up the stairs and fell on the bed. Scattering my 2 bags full of stuff around the bed. The moving truck would be here in about 3 or 4 hours so I had some time to figure out what I was going to do for dinner and stuff. O

I picked up my phone and called my good friend Peej. He answered in almost a second.

"Hey Luna are you here yet?" Peej asked almost nervously.

"Yeah. Um are you okay? You sound really nervous?" I asked hearing the nervousness in his voice.

"No I'm not I'm in big trouble Luna." He said. Why would he be in trouble?

"Oh umm what's wrong?" I said really concerned.

"I ummm I'm stuck in my toilet..." He said. I heard laughing in the background and shushing.

"Are you making a video or something
Peej?" I already knew the answer to that.

"Umm yes Did you fall for it though?"

"Nah I heard laughing in the background." I said while laughing to myself.

"Oh damn it I told Phil to shush but anyways come over were at Dan's apartment."

"Okay text me the address"

"Okay I will bye Luna"

With that we both hung up the phone. I laughed to myself and I heard my phones notification sound. It was Peej of course. I read the text; Dan's address is 1736 15th street it's in roselawn apartments number 15. (I just made that up xD) I was shocked because I lived in roselawn apartments. I was number 12. I quickly text back; I live in roselawn apartments I'm number 12 but I will be there in a min. With that I ran out the door and grabbed my keys.

I got to number 15 and knocked on the door. Peej answered and pulled me into a big hug.

"Hi Peej!" I said excited. I was so happy to see him. It felt like forever but it was only 1 year. Still that's pretty long. He pulled me out of a hug and we walked inside. There I was greeted by Chris, Phil, and of course Dan.

"Hi Luna. It's so good to see you." Everyone said in unison.

"Same same so what are all you doing?"

Dan was the first to answer. "We just finished filming a video. We played twister and then you called so Pj wanted to prank you!"

I laughed at the image of all four of them playing twister together and I also laughed at the fact that Peej would think I fell for it. I sat down on the couch. We didn't do much just talk and catch up. We also ordered a pizza.

In about 30 minutes I heard the door bell. Phil got up and retreated to the door. He came back with two pizza boxes. We got pepperoni and cheese. All of our favorites. I reached for the pepporoni and so did Dan. Dan brushed his fingers on my hand but acted like it was on accident.

"Oh sorry Luna" Dan apologized. He had a sly look on his face but soon faded into a cute smile. He stared into my blue eyes and I stared into his brown ones. They were so beautiful. They always lit up when he looked at me.

"No it's fine Dan. Really!"

We all got our slices of pizza and were laughing and joking around but I was lost in my thoughts. I always liked Dan. The way he looked at me. The way he could make my day go from good to bad in just one word or text. The way he would care about me more than some other people. But I was certain. He didn't like me back. I just had to know but get how could I say how I feel. We've been best friends since primary school and I don't want to ruin that relationship. I shook my head and returned to reality. My thoughts could wait.

It was about 6 so I just decided to chill with Dan for a little. Peej, Chris, and Phil went off to get some stuff from the store so I just decided to say with Dan. It was pretty quiet until Dan broke the silence.

"Luna I have to tell you something"

I was scared of what he had to say but yet I was so curious.

"Oh sure what is it?"

"I like you Luna a lot..."
