The Other Ones

Chapter 12

 The clop of the horse's hooves echoed slightly as I sat behind Dustin on a bay gelding. My arms were wrapped around him so I wouldn't fall off, though I had perfectly good balance...
Dustin had sent a message by using the hawk right before we had left. It was now a week since we left the cottage, though I was glad Jinx had come with us though. I looked around as Dustin had the gelding trot at an easy pace. So far we had no run ins with anyone or anything.... Though Dustin kept his guard up.
I became so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice the gelding had stopped and we were in a secluded area. Nor did I notice a small cabin as well... I blinked as Dustin shifted, bringing me back to the present. I shook my head and withdrew my arms from around him.
He slipped off and then offered to help me down. I shrugged and let him help me down. His hands were on my waist and my hands on his arms. He pulled me down until I was standing close to him, his hands still on my waist. I didn't keep my hands on his arms, instead I wrapped my arms around his neck. He leaned his head towards mine and gave me a kiss. I returned it without complaint. He broke the kiss and nodded towards the cabin for me to go into. I nodded and walked to the cabin, leaving Dustin to take care of the horse. Jinx was chasing after a rabbit as I got to the cabin door. I opened it and went in, taking a look around.
There was a fireplace right across from where I stood in the doorway. A bed was to my left and closet just a few feet away from the bed. To my right lay a small kitchen and a small wooden table. I take a few steps inside and put my hands on my hips, taking this in. I had left the door open, but I heard it close as Dustin came in. I turn my head to look at him, he gave me a smile and I returned it. I looked away and began to think about how we first met. I walked over to the bed and plopped down on it, looking up at the ceiling.
"How much farther do we have to travel?" I asked, kicking off my boots. I see Dustin appear over me, silent like always. Well, only when he wanted to be that is. "Just about a days worth or so." He replied, soon falling on me and hugging me. I yelped and slapped his back pettily as he rolled us to our sides.
Our bodies were close together, and I smiled a little. I slipped one of my legs between his as I moved closer and gave him a kiss. He pressed me a little closer as he kissed me back, I felt him slip a hand under my shirt and press it against my bare back.
I broke from the kiss and put a hand on his cheek, though it was a little difficult due to how close we were. It was hard for me to imagine that back in the mortal world I would never have slept with anyone. Much less let myself be near such a handsome guy.
Dustin pushed me onto my back, slipping his hand out from under my shirt. He gave me another kiss as he knelt over me, one hand beside my head and the other caressing my cheek. I kiss him back with a smile. He slipped his hand away from my cheek and up my shirt again. I giggled as he stroked my belly softly, tickling me. I lifted my hands and wrapped them around his neck, pulling him towards me a little. I kiss him again, and he kissed me back. I giggled again between a kiss as he pushed my shirt up. I shifted slightly as he pulled my shirt off and let it drop to the floor, he soon pulled off his own shirt.
We had made out for a while, now just laying under the covers. He had his arms around me and I had my hands on his chest. I closed my eyes as he kissed my forehead. I was about to doze off when a hurried knock sounded on the door, I blink my eyes open at the noise. A horse whinnied from outside, and it didn't sound like the gelding... Jinx barked several times, though no fighting sounded.
Dustin broke away from me and got out of the bed quickly, throwing the covers over my head. I pulled the covers off of my head and kept them up to my neck. I sat up, holding the covers there as Dustin slipped his pants on and hurried to the door. He opened it and stood in the way so that whoever was there couldn't see in. "Cousin? What brings you here? And how did you even know I was here?" Dustin asked, obviously surprised. I heard the voice from a man somewhat older than Dustin reply. "Stop acting like a fool... You know why I am here, and uncle is wanting you back at the palace.... Doing your job as a prince."
