The town house was anything but, Roen had seen manors smaller than this. He felt odd as they walked up the lawn, Cassian and Nesta bid their goodbyes and so did Amren and Varian, which left only Feyre, Rhysand and their babe... And Elain. The female was anything but short of beautiful. She carried herself with such grace and wisdom beyond her years. Roen had to tell himself multiple times to stop staring.

When they walked in they showed Roen the dining room, in which he cringed at his dirty clothes touching the very loved and worn seats. He must have been trying so hard not to leave dirt stains that he completely missed the very fast servants who had brought a table full of food. Everything he could think of was in front of them. And what was even more odd was Rhysand and Feyre weren't sitting at the heads of the table. They sat directly from Elain and him.

"If there is something you like but don't see let us know." Feyre spoke.

"No this is fine- More than fine... Thank you, your Majesty." They all went still, did he say the wrong title?

"You can just call me Feyre." She smiled before turning her attention to the stirring babe in her arms.

What a sight to behold. This little creature that has nothing but innocence and non-bias'. He is one day going to rule, it was odd seeing a ruler at this age, before his crown. "Is he making you uncomfortable?" Rhysand asked, drawing Roen out of his thoughts.

"No of course not! He's just... So small." He cringed at his words before grabbing some cured meat and potatoes.

Feyre chuckled a bit. "Have you've ever seen a baby Roen?"

"No your- Feyre."

With a glance to Rhysand and a shrug of the High Lord's shoulders Feyre stood and walked over to Roen's left. "Would you like to hold him?"

"I couldn't possibly." It was very strange having the High Lady offer something like this to a stranger. But as he looked down at the sleeping babe something in him was curious. "I-I don't know how."

"Here." Feyre handed the babe to him and moved his arm so the babe's neck was resting supportively on it. "And you just stay there."

Roen huffed a nervous laugh. Never in his life has he held anything so small, so fragile. But he quickly learned how those factors do not affect how loud the babe is as he began to cry, screech was more like it. "I've made him upset-"

"Bounce your arms lightly. And try and relax, he probably feels how unsettled you are." Roen did so and the babe seemed to calm. "See? You're a natural!" Feyre sat next to Roen and ate her dinner as Roen held the babe, utterly stunned at the beauty of him.

When the dinner was over Feyre took the babe back before Elain showed Roen where he was to sleep. The room was large, a four poster bed with curtains to draw if he wanted, two armoires, a fireplace with a worn couch in front, a window with a stone bench built in to look out at the beautiful garden and a very large bookshelf with books just thrown on it.

The bathing chamber was the same, large and covered with white stone, black tile and gold accents. The tub was big enough to fit at least four, two sinks, and enormous windows that took up most of the walls. They even had the liberty of stocking the drawers with oils, soaps, towels, and stuffed the armoires with... Female clothing?

"This is Adela's room when she comes to visit, which she has only done once but Rhysand thought you would feel comfortable in here. In the bottom drawers are male's clothing, you can draw a bath and change if you'd like."

"Should I be getting my back wet?"

"You can always take a bath with non-scented soap. Do you need help with your dressings?"
