Shia never thought much about death, that was before her 16th birthday. Now at the edge towards 17, she knew that she wouldn't meet the ripe age with her twin.
Seth. Leah. She could have forgiven them, she just needed more time to process the thought of them being shapeshifters. That type of information needed time, plus they were her siblings so she would have came to terms with it.
Sue. Her mother was a loving woman who had been through so much. She was so sweet, protective, and understanding. She didn't deserve to lose her child as she lost her husband. Sue always believed that her kids should burry her, not the other way around.
Her friends, ones that needed her and vice versa. Jos and Mateo were such beautiful souls that she was happy that she was able to meet. They needed her, but they had each other. Yes, it would be hard but they would move on and be okay. As long as they stuck together.
Quil. Oh her sweet Quil. Something she wished she would have been able to call him. Maybe he would have talked to her like before, seeing that she now knew the reason he cut himself free of her. Maybe they could have headed back in the direction they were going.
Saleaah took her last breath as her body impacted with a hard object. "You're okay, I got you." A southern voice soothed her as calming waves soothed her to sleep before she could open her eyes.
The last thing she heard was, "Emmett, no!" splashing water, growls, then nothing as darkness welcomed her with warm arms.

The sounds of beeping machines woke Shia up from her sleep. A groan left her body as her eyes cracked open, only to be blinded by a bright light. Before her eyes clamped shut to shield themselves from the light, she caught the glimpse of a body quickly moving towards her. It was Sue. It was her mother.
A sob ripped from her as Sue hugged her youngest daughter's head, the latter wrapping her arms around her mother's waist. "Mom.." Shia croaked out as sobs overtook her voice.
"It's okay, you're okay baby girl. I'm here." Sue soothed the girl as she brushed the stay away hairs down. Sue was afraid to speak again, feeling that her voice would betray her as tears fell from her own face. She wanted to be strong for her little girl.
Sue slid into the bed next to Saleaah as the younger girl was lured back to the seduction of sleep.
"Sae." Seth worriedly called as he rushed into the hospital room with Leah close behind him. Tears stained his cheeks as more formed at the sight of his twin. Sue looked up from the top of Saleaah's head, seeing her other two children entering the room.
Relief filled the mother as she was finally at peace with having all three of her children in one room, one space.
Sue beckoned her children over, Seth immediately going to Shia's other side where Leah stood frozen by the entrance of the door. Her baby sister was battered and bruised in a hospital bed, and she couldn't do anything.
All Leah could think about was how horribly she treated Shia. She knew that her little sister felt like she had to walk around on eggshells, yet she didn't do anything to fix it. She just brushed it off, especially with the fear of shifting and harming the younger girl was added to the equation.
"Lee?" Sue called her oldest daughter who was lost in thoughts. "I- mom I can't." Leah choked out with a shake of her head. Tears pricked at her eyes just as Seth's did, but compared to her he let them fall.
"Leah." Sue sighed out in recognition of the torment that the older girl was putting herself in. "Leah, come on. Sae needs us." Seth's brown eyes were a shade lighter due to the tears that were threatening to escape once more.
Leah turned on her heel to leave the room, feeling overwhelmed, guilty, sad, and angry. She was so visibly angry that both Sue and Seth's eyes slightly widened seeing the shaking of the girl's body. Leah just couldn't deal with the fact that someone put their hands on her baby sister. Yet alone a cold one.
"Lee?" A soft voice called after Leah who was ready to run out of the hospital and search the woods until death of the red head fell from her own jaws.
The shimmers immediately stopped once Shia's voice reached her ears. Waves of calmness flowed naturally and quickly around Leah as if she was embraced within a hug.
"Shia." Leah turned to see Saleaah lifting her head slightly from its place on their mother's chest. The tears immediately fell from Leah's eyes as her sister looked over her.
"I'm sorry." The youngest child of Sue and Harry Clearwater stated as sobs racked her seemingly smaller frame. Leah quickly made her way to the bedside with the rest of her family.
"Dummy. Why are you apologizing for being hurt?" Leah let out a watery laugh as she reached over her mother to lightly flick her sister's nose. She couldn't help but wipe her tears with the back of her hand. Leah didn't want her sister to see her as weak, when she's supposed to be strong right now.
"I'm sorry that I'm worrying you all. If I didn't freak out, this wouldn't have happened." Shia explained as tears continued to roll down her face.
Seth let out a small chuckle, squeezing his big frame on the bed behind Shia. He softly hugged her from the back as she rested in their mother's embrace. "We freaked out too, once we shifted." He told her causing the twin to glance back at him.
"Billy told us everything. He was worried." Sue explained to the younger girl. "He told us that you came for answers, and you filled in the rest of the blanks. But it didn't turn out too well." Sue finished as he continued to comb her fingers gently through the girl's aching head.
Leah pulled the chair closer to the bed and took Shia's ivy infested hand. "I'm sorry for being such an emotional burden. We didn't know that you could feel our emotions until Billy explained it. It was probably hard on you."
Saleaah's shook her head, but grimaced at the motion.
"I just want you to be happy. I don't like the pain you've been going through. I just wanted you to be you again Lee." Shia mumbled before her body betrayed her again, luring her back to sleep.
