It was finally the day that Saleaah could be discharged from the hospital. After a long two and a half weeks, she had mixed feelings. She would miss the hospital because of her favorite nurses. Nurse McCall was one of them. She was a woman who was only there for three days before going back to her home hospital in California. She had long curly brown hair and she was super nice, almost like a mother figure.

Then her now favorite person Nurse Crawford. The teenage girl made him promise to keep in contact with her, especially since they were two weeks in of  consistently watching Criminal Minds. He of course promised, but Shia was convinced he only agreed since she was a patient.

Other than that, she had a few visitors during her longish stay. Rosalie Hale and Emmett Cullen came to visit her. Seeing that she had no choice, she could only accept the two.

"Hi, Saleaah." A sweet voice called from the door causing the girl to tense up. She knew that melodic like voice, she used to be familiar with it.

"I don't know why you are on my visitors list." Saleaah scoffed, returning her eyes back down to the creation that she has been occupied with.

Rosalie looked over to Emmett with a sunken demeanor, which he male sighed straightening his form. Emmett wasn't used to his wife being in a sad mood. Yes, she's kinda moody, but more in an angry pissed off way that he loves. So, to get her back to normal, preferably in a happy mood, he would try to win back their favorite prophet.

Which failed miserably.

"Are those supposed to be mini Harry Potter people?" Emmett asked walking closer to the younger girl, only to be met with a glare. Emmett raised his hands in defense making sure to keep an acceptable distance.

"Look, Saleaah. We want to apologize." Rosalie told the girl sitting on the chair next to the bed.

Shia sighed deciding to hear the vampire out. She knew what she wanted to say already to the woman in disguise as a teenager. The younger girl barely knew what the other would say, so she just listened.

Taking it as her cue to continue, Rosalie began to explain herself. Not that it really helped anything.

"Jasper attacked Bella?" Saleaah asked with a small frown, something the couple nodded at to confirm her question.

"He never attacked me before, so why should I believe you?" The girl raised an eyebrow at the two vampires.

Emmett let out a small huff and playful eye roll. "What would we gain from lying to you, little wolf?" A small smirk beginning to form on the male's face.

"I'm still not getting where you guys leaving without so much of a goodbye, comes in." Shia raised an eyebrow as Rose looked at her lap and back to the healing prophet.

"We were wrong, I get that. That's why we are here to apologize, we want to be in your life again."

Saleaah blinked at the blonde's words. She forgives her family, she forgives Quil, so why shouldn't she forgive them.

"What if you guys leave me again? I depended too much on you guys before, I can't do that again. Actually, I won't." Shia's brown eyes moved to Rosalie's golden eyes, glossing in determination and strength.

Rosalie softly smiled as feeling of fondness rolled off of her. She was proud of how much Saleaah grew from the year they were gone.

"And we aren't asking you to, we just want to be there for you like we once were. We want to be your friend."

As the previous conversation from last week that she had with the two Cullen's flooded her mind, a knock sounded from the door.

Turning in her heel from zipping her small overnight bag, Saleaah turned to face Nurse Crawford who had his hands behind his back.

"Hey, Nurse C." The girl grinned at the male who walked in the room with a small smile.

"I heard my favorite patient is being discharged today. I brought you something." He told her before moving his hands to the front of him, showing the girl the thin tribal beaded bracelet with two metallic feathers, that he found.

"Thank you, Nurse C." Shia smiled gently at the man before giving him a hug. Jayden Crawford saw this girl at her weakest, and now he was able to see her walk out at her strongest. He was proud to see her walk out healthy and happy.

Once the two pulled away from the hug, Jayden watched as Saleaah gently rolled the bracelet in place on her arm. She smiled as she examined her new piece of jewelry and laughed at how the male held a proud dad smile on his face.

"Sae, you ready?" Leah lead against the door frame as a leather jacket in her left hand hung over her shoulder.

"Lee!" Saleaah grinned before grabbing her duffel and quickly made her way to her older sister's side. Leah pulled the bag from her baby sister's hand before motioning towards the hallway with her head, her bob cut hair tickling her neck.

Saleaah gave her nurse one more smile before leaving down the hallway chatting with the holder girl.

Shockingly, after the course of two weeks in the hospital, Saleaah has been acting normal. Like normal before she gained her abilities. For some reason, the feelings that she felt were dimmed down. She could feel them, but it was more like a tingle rather than wavelengths.

Maybe this difference was due to her head injury, maybe it would be better before it got worse. All the girl knew was that she could breathe without assistance. She knew she didn't want to claw her skull out from the intensity of emotions she felt from the people around her. She felt normal.

But maybe that was the first issue. Or maybe that was her gaining control of her ability.
