These few weeks of knowing Quil Ateara has been good, great even. There have been times where they would meet and talk for hours, or they would be on the phone talking or texting. Something about him just made her happy.
This past week has been hectic and a little tiring, seeing as Shia did have a run in with Lumi Grayson. Shia didn't want to see the older girl anytime soon, not because she didn't like her, but because she was afraid of seeing how Lumi felt towards her. Or felt in general, especially at the relationship chaos that is floating the halls. Apparently one of the Grayson's punched Jared in the face.
Saleaah liked the relationship that Lumi and Jared shared, they were cute and Lumi seemed happy. Seeing that relationship end was a little surprising, yet seeing the reaction of Louis Grayson was even moreso.
Anyways, today, just as any other day Saleaah had plans to hangout with Quil. He wanted to take her to see one of the Star Wars movies that was playing at the drive-in movie theater in Forks. There are typically very few people who go to the drive-in at Forks, they prefer going to Port Angelas for the real thing. But seeing as Quil would be borrowing his grandfather's truck, he decided to stay in close proximity.
"Bye mom, bye dad." Shia mumbled to her parents as she quietly shuffled her rain jacket on, alongside her rain boots. "Where are you headed to, little wonder?" Harry asked walking to meet his younger daughter who was getting ready to make her hasty escape.
"I'm going to meet with Quil, we're going to the movies. I already told mom." She quickly explains to her father who nodded slowly.
"As in you are meeting him for a date?" Harry asked shoving his hands in his front pockets.
Saleaah quickly raised her head to meet her father's eyes, they hid something deep within him, but his emotions said everything his eyes didn't. He felt protective and worried, why did he feel worried exactly was beyond her.
"Dad, no. We are just friends." The blushing girl quickly cleared up, and the father chuckled making his way closer to the girl that he knew was going through changes.
This would be a conversation that he will have with old Quil as soon as she stepped food out of this house. "Have fun, do not stay out too late." Harry told her and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Copy that. I love you, Dad." Saleaah smiled gently up at her father who smiled back at her, the corners of his eyes crinkling. "I love you too, my little wonder." He replied and watched as his youngest daughter stepped out of the house and jogged towards the truck that was waiting in front of the house.
As soon as they were out of sight, Harry pulled out his phone dialing Old Quil's number. "Hey, Old Quil. We need to talk."

"Are you cold?" Quil asked Saleaah who shoved her hands between her thighs to gain some warmth for them.
Shia nodded slightly, as her eyes were trained on the movie, but a pout began to form as light rain droplets began to form on the windshield wiper.
"Here." Quil reached over and wrapped his jacket around her shoulders while simultaneously pulling her closer to him. "I have enough body heat for the both of us." He told her with a boyish grin as his eyes slightly closed.
"Thank you.." Shia mumbled looking up at him, liking how warm Quil was. Temperature wise and emotionally wise. She could practically hear what his heart wanted to say to her.
Quil's smile gradually faded as he kept his eyes glued with hers. "Your eyes are so pretty." He whispered as his forehead met hers.
Shia pulled away from Quil slightly as the rain picked up, tugging the jacket closer to her, using it as a cloak.
Quil cleared his throat looking around slightly for a distraction as people started leaving the drive-in. He didn't want their night to end just yet.
