The Gemstars Meetup Team – Cole, Kirrie, Orion, Anders, Elivra, and Nuede – were aboard the irangel ship originally flown by Civic and Amanda, the Irangel Cruise.
Formerly named Glowing Radar, the ship that the Adam of the irangel race, Adrezo Voni, was on before Tori hijacked the ship and used it to return to Earth, the ship was renamed the Irangel Cruise, allowing ownership to the irangels.
Cole had seen events occur in this ship from the memories of the past Demian had given the irangels, so they could see Tori's memories. As he walked the same corridor where Tori killed Adrezo, Cole couldn't help but feel the ship was somewhat haunted because someone died on it. Two someones, Cole amended, remembering Adrezo's fiancée Evana, who also died aboard the ship.
Orion waved his worries aside. "If Adrezo really was watching us, I'm sure he wouldn't mind. I believe he might even think his death was honorable because if it weren't for him, we wouldn't be here. Most of us wouldn't even be alive."
"Still, Tori didn't have to kill him. She could've kept him hostage," Anders interjected.
"I think death might've been more preferable for Adrezo had he known what Tori would've done to him had she kept him hostage," Cole said quietly, remembering when he was once Tori's prisoner.
The former crew of the Glowing Radar, pilot Fanarik Svitsa and groundsman Riello Griselau, had given their own accounts of the day they saw Tori. They allowed Demian to copy/paste that memory, as well as their memories of Adrezo when he was still alive.
They allowed the irangels to see those memories, allowing them to feel the impact of their loss, so they could see through their eyes how Tori barged in, how she briefly fought Fanarik and Riello prior to killing Adrezo, their shock when they saw the stolen ship leave Iredescent's atmosphere with the report of another dying Iredescent aboard the same ship.
How years had passed without a word of what happened to Adrezo and Evana until the day Demian finally returned their bodies, perfectly preserved in their golden caskets with glass tops. They placed Iredescent clothing on them before permanently sealing the two caskets in Icardclar, a burial mount specially reserved for prominent people such as the Rulers of Iredescent Past.
Cole's thoughts returned to the present when Orion abruptly said, "Hey, where's Nuede?"
Nuede was in her room, looking at pictures of Cydtin on her comect. She browsed through various pictures of his Earth life, his childhood, his rise to becoming the business development manager of the Elite Plaza Business Center before taking over his boss' company, his unexpected presidency, his engagement to Kaylie, the tragedies he faced, and his new life on Iredescent.
As she looked at pictures of Cydtin with the irangels, Nuede noticed how happy he looked among them. Demian, Valerie, Anders, Inlivido, Stripes, Desmond, and surprisingly Amanda, were the ones closest to Cydtin. They were there for him in his grief. They were true friends who cared for him like a brother.
Nuede ran a hand on the flat surface of the touch screen comect, visualizing running her hand through Cydtin's black hair, how luxuriously soft and smooth his clothes would feel, how nice it would be to teasingly pull him close by his silk tie, how delightful it would be to kiss him.
Nuede knew Cydtin was attracted to her and that he felt as equally in love with her as she was with him. Just his presence, the way he always smelled so good, his charming smile, his gorgeous eyes, his hair, the way he carried himself, his kind and gentle demeanor....
