When the rain beats down
And the lightning falls
It's almost as if the world
Crashes down and breaks apart
Without you to bring the calm.
Every day I see my own mentality
Slowly changing around
Rising from the ground
If only you could see
What you do to me
And if only I can see
What I do to you.
The day is coming soon
Where I can see you, and you see me
I can finally know
How much we both grow
Even when we're apart
We're together in heart
Always one.
Sometimes I can see
Beyond the blurry window
And look at you sitting there
Staring at the same storm
But I know at the end
We'll be smiling hand in hand
Because at the end of a storm
Is a rainbow
And you'll be there waiting for me
Because even if we're apart
Just know you're in my heart
And I in yours
Never apart
Always one
