Snow and Midnight growled lowly and stood in front of me blocking my view of Chase.
"What're you doing?!" I asked them.
'Doing our job, what we were suppose to do.' Snow replied.
"Wait, what?!"
Midnight and Snow stood taller bearing their teeth as Chase got closer.
"Get away from her!" He screamed at them and jumped up coming straight for them.
With the blow he's about to deliver, he'll kill them both!
"No!" I yelled and ran in between Snow and Midnight putting my hands up in front of me.
Chase's face turned into shock as he landed in front of me and his flames went out.
"Wait, Cha-!" I couldn't finish my sentence as he grabbed my arm yanking me behind him.
Snow and Midnight took a step forward growling deadly.
"What the hell are you doing Aiden!"
I couldn't even reply as he lit his hands on fire, along with his whole arms.
"Chase, wait, listen to me!" I grabbed his shoulders avoiding getting burned by his flame, and pulled him back.
He didn't say anything, he was shocked, I understand why.
"They weren't going to hurt me."
"What do ya mean they weren't goin' to hurt you! Their Wolf-Hounds!" He shouted at me clearly ticked off.
"They were being controlled by WCC but their not anymore because of me!" I yelled.
Chase backed down, his flames getting brighter and hotter as he looked at Snow and Midnight, glaring.
'Thank you, Aiden." Midnight said in my mind.
I nodded, "No prob."
Chase looked at me like I was crazy, "Did you say something to them?"
I shook my head, "Nope, nothin' at all."
Snow shook her head side to side as in a laughing manor. 'It is a wise choice to keep this a secret for now.'
'Thats what I thought.' I replied through the telepathy, I don't know how I can do it but I did.
"So, now that you've be-friended a couple of deadly Wolf-Hounds," Chase was paused by Midnight growling, but he continued, "You think the others will just welcome them in?" He asked sternly crossing his arms and looking down at me making me feel small under his gaze, his flames finally going out making everything dark again.
"Well, no, but they're gunna have to, because they're on our side."
"How do you know that?!" Chase asked harshly.
"I just do." I scowled crossing my arms.
'Aiden, we must go, before the others come, the other Wolf-Hounds will not be kind if they find us.' Snow said a little nervously.
'Alright.' I replied back.
Chase turned away walking back down the tunnel without saying anything else to me.
I motioned for Snow and Midnight to follow and they did.
Chase stayed ahead of us but slowed down and I caught up to him and he just glanced at me for a split second before focusing his attention to the long tunnel ahead of us.
I guess, well, he IS pissed off at me, I guess I can't blame him, I ran off in the middle of the night when every one was sleeping, fought two Wolf-Hounds, started talking telepathically to them, and then Chase came in flames ready to kill someone, and is now very pissed off at me because I did all that, but why was he so worked up, I'm fine...
Well, that's the least thing I have to worry about, what are the others going to think, about Snow and Midnight, or do to them?
I glanced behind me and they we're still following Chase and I, but just by a couple of feet.
'You two okay?'
Midnight was the one who looked at me from my question, 'Yes Aiden, we're fine.'
I glanced at them and nodded once.
"Aiden, come here."
I looked back at Chase and he was standing a few feet ahead of me.
"And tell your dogs, to sit and stay."
Snow and Midnight started growling.
'Calm down you guys!'
After saying, well thinking that, they stopped immediately.
"Now."
Chase sounded really stern saying that.
And he had his back to me.
I went over to Chase and stopped beside him.
"What is it?"
Chase rubbed his forehead with a somewhat pained expression, "Your giving me a damn migraine."
"Huh?"
"You and your dogs talk to much, and it's giving me a migraine."
"W-what'd you mean?"
"I'm not stupid Aiden, the look on your face says it all when you talk to them telepathically. I can easily listen to your conversations."
'Right, he reads minds.'
"Yeah, I can."
I glared at him, since he read my mind again, "I told you, stop doing that. It ticks me off, knowing I can't think without being invaded."
"Well, you can't stop me, now can you?" He mocked, smirking.
I growled, "I can sure as hell try!"
Chase stepped back and did a 'come at me motion' with his hand and smirked wider, "Bring it."
When I jumped towards Chase, who looked ready to block my attack by flipping me over his shoulder, I was grabbed by the back of my shirt and pulled back into a soft yet hard surface with growling erupting from the surface.
Chase suddenly looked protective and took a threatening step forwards.
I looked up seeing a white snout above my head and then black fur towered above in front of me blocking my view of Chase.
I only saw Midnights side as he snarled at Chase, with his fur pricking on his back.
"What're you doi-!"
'Silent Aiden! We're not letting you get hurt.' Snow said harshly.
'He wasn't going to hurt me! We were just messing around!'
Then I didn't hear anything else by anyone, Midnight's snarling subsided and he was still blocking my view but still didn't move until Chase spoke up.
"Fine." He said out loud bluntly.
"Huh?"
"Nothing Aiden, let's go, if Snow and Midnight allow you to." Chase said still on the other side of Midnight.
Did they speak to each other? I asked myself.
Midnight moved out of my way and Snow backed up.
"What's the deal? Why are you two, no, three, so fricking protective of me? Why do you seem to know the others Chase? Before you brought me here."
I'm getting sick of being left in the dark and I need damn answers.
Chase eyed me before sighing, "We'll answer your questions when we get back."
Before I could argue, Chase walked down the tunnel and I reluctantly followed grumbling to myself with Snow and Midnight behind me.
