I sighed quietly as I listened to the radio at the front desk at my gas station.
I just left the adoption center three weeks ago and I'm doing well on my own.
And people thought I couldn't take care of myself, pfft, screw them, they weren't even trying to take care of me anyway at the adoption centers. I'm better off out here on my own. I got a whole gas station with good food and I got the power going so I have tons of fridges full of food and drinks.
But, the down side of everything, is that, I'm alone...
It would be nice to have someone to tell everything to and talk to, soon enough, I'll start talking to myself and that's just messed up.
But that's life, I gotta live with it.
But I have fun times at night, and the thing is, I'm a vigilante.
I'm the one they call the Midnight Wolf,
Nobody ever sees me except the ones I stop from their crimes, but they could never identify me because of what I wear, I have a mask I put over my mouth and nose.
I leave the scene before the the police arrive.
And there's another vigilante out there called the Dark Knight. But I've never met this person yet, and I don't want them getting in my way.
While I was thinking about all of this, I glanced at my watch and it was only 11:00 pm. And there is no crimes yet. That's why I listen to the radio.
But I waited fifteen more minuets and decided to head out anyway.
I went to the back room that I made my bedroom and stripped myself of my jeans and t-shirt and changed into a black long sleeve shirt, black jean leggings, and black leather boots that go to my knees.
I grabbed my black mask and wrapped it over my mouth and nose and tied it up in the back.
Looking at the mirror at how bad-ass I look, I smirked.
I stared at my eyes, I kept pondering on if I should get contacts that are brown so the people couldn't figure out who I am.
I'm the only one around here with the kind of eyes I have.
Electric blue, but they're almost white but still have blue streaks in the iris.
I shrugged it off and left the gas station.

My bangs hung in front of my face as I was on the rooftop to one of the most popular banks in the city.
Sacramento is a great city, and the capital of California.
But the most city filled with crimes that I have to stop.
I brushed my bangs out of my face with my hand, and then I heard a scream about two blocks away in a alleyway.
I jumped to my feet and sprinted in the direction the scream came from.
I jumped from roof to roof and stopped at the edge where the alley was where I heard the scream.
I looked over and saw one of the gang members from that stupid gang called White Ravens, I think, taking a purse from a woman in about her thirties, she had long dirty blonde hair, sea blue eyes, and had a business suit on.
Man those guys are stupid, and they always have knives and guns to make themselves look bad but I've only recalled them using their guns once.
But they only raid people of their money and jewelry that's spendy.
I jumped down and landed behind the scum.
He didn't notice me because I was so silent, so I did it the old smarty way.
I tapped his shoulder and he turned around letting go of the lady's purse.
The lady ran away out of the alleyway and to the sidewalk.
The guy growled at me, and I punched him in the face.
He stumbled back holding his nose that was broken and bloody.
Then he took out a Swiss Army knife and charged at me.
I easily dodged his stabs and bent down sweep kicking his feet out from under him.
He hit the ground with a loud thud and groaned from hitting his head.
I smirked as he stood back up.
"You know how much money ya cost me!?" He snapped.
"To much." I replied with a smirk he couldn't see.
He growled at me, "This isn't the last of me." And with that, he left.
'Oh~ I'm shaking in my boots.' I thought.
I climbed to the roof as I heard sirens in the distance, the lady must have called the police when she ran away.
I saw a shadow on another roof a few blocks away, and it was looking back at me with neon green eyes.
Is it the scum? No, he didn't have green eyes, especially like these.
I heard a screech of tires in the street to my left, I looked over and saw a police car.
I looked back at where the shadow was and it was gone.
I stood up and turned in a circle to see if I could find it, but I couldn't.
I quickly left and ran back to the gas station outside of the city.
When I got there, I made sure nobody followed me and went inside locking the doors.
I changed into shorts and a tang top and laid in bed, a old musty mattress I should say.
Then it hit me.
The shadow I saw, was the Dark Knight!
