The morning light was shining through the window and on my face, which made me tighten my eyes more.
But, like everyone else does, I opened them a little and looked at my alarm clock.
It was 12:23 in the afternoon.
"Of course..." I mumbled to myself as I sat up.
As I got off the bed and went to the room across from my bedroom and walked to the fridge, my mind started to ponder about the shadow from last night.
Was that really the Dark Knight?
It had to have been, who else would be on the rooftops prowling around besides me?
And their eyes, they were just like mine, but green, how weird is that?
I might see them again tonight too, to tell you the truth, I hope so, I want to find out who this Dark Knight is, before I didn't want anything to do with the Dark Knight, but now...
I grabbed a soda out of the fridge and noticed I was almost out.
"Guess I have to buy more, again..." I said, which I do a lot, to myself and went back to my room to get dressed.
I changed into a green tang top, ripped jeans, black tennies, and a gray hoddie.
I grabbed a few bucks out of the cash register that was loaded when I came here, which I don't understand why honestly, and left the station putting my hood up so nobody would pay any attention to me.
Lets hope today will be short.

Rain started to fall as I was walking along the sidewalk to the grocery store.
Everyone else took out their umbrellas but I didn't have one so I pulled my hoodie over my head more.
People started rushing around as it started to down pour.
That's a first, we don't usually get rain around here much, ever since the drought a few years ago.
Of course I was getting drenched and I didn't really care, I loved the rain, and it looks like it's going to be raining for a while yet.
I kept walking and everyone ran for shelter except a few people walking to stores and things and I could barely see in front of me it was raining so hard.
But I saw a shadow in front of me moving quickly and then it rammed into my side making me spin around.
I stopped myself and shouted at the jerk who kept walking.
"Watch where ya going retard!"
Then they were gone. I growled under my breath and walked into the grocery store.
Getting some more pop and some other goodies to munch on and actual groceries, I payed and left the store.
It was still down pouring out so I ran the three blocks out of the city and to the gas station a half mile out of the city.
I put the bags of food on the front desk and took off my sweater.
It was soaked, but I didn't really care.
I tossed it on the wheel chair behind the desk and when it hit the chair, it fell off it and hit the floor making a rattling sound.
"Huh?" I picked it up checking the pockets and I felt something in the left side.
I pulled it out and it was a piece of paper and a piece of metal with a small chain hooked onto it.
I looked at the paper first, and it was a note?
