Lucy had been worrying the whole day, she really hurt him by going behind his back for a job and it was Valentines day! Since they had reserved for a date Lucy got ready for it. She waited 30 minutes at the front desk waiting for someone who wouldn't arrive so, she went to look for him in his office.
BINGO! There he was sat, not even finishing his paperwork but starting a new stack of paperwork. She knocked on the door.
Lucy- Hi...
Tim- Hi.
Lucy looked at him now realising what she had done to him. She knew the 5-player trade was risky but she didn't think he would be mad at her for pulling the trick. Taking her responsibility for het actions she apologized.
Lucy- I get why you're angry. Even though you were miserable as court liaison and I spearheaded an almost impossible five-player trade to save you... I shouldn't have done it all behind your back.
Tim- Is that an apology?
Lucy- Yes.
Tim- Alright.
Lucy- No! Look because you never would've let me work my magic, if I had told you and then I would've ended up transferring to another station to save you from yourself, and... this worked out so much better. And if you can't see that, I'm sorry not sorry.
Tim- Okay. I accept your non-apology.
Lucy- Good.
Tim- Good.
Lucy- So we're going to dinner or what?
Tim- We are, but your, uhm... your outfit is missing a little something.
Lucy- What?
Tim opens a drawer on his desk and takes out a little box. He hands it over to her and cheers "Happy Valentines day." Lucy opens the box and gasped.
Lucy- Oh, wow, it's beautiful. Did you pick this out yourself?
Tim- I did. Is that shocking?
Lucy- No, you clearly have good taste.
Tim takes the necklace from her and puts it around her neck. Just the same as Jackson used to...
Jackson- And this is from the West family, to remind you that there are people who are proud of what you've accomplished of who you are.
He handed her a little black box with a beautiful white bow. As she opened it she whispered it out.
Lucy- Saint Michael.
Jackson- Hey, it's no Distinguished Service Medal but-
Lucy- No-, it's- it's better. Thank you so much.
Jackson- Of course, yeah.
Lucy- Will you, um, help me?
Jackson- I've never been good at these, um, let's see.
Jackson put it around her neck gently but also struggling.
Jackson- As soon as I'm done with this, I need you to pop on your shoes, because I am taking you for baseball steaks.
And as he finished they left.
