Money To Blow

A/N: now we kinda see, just a hint, of how Alessio feels about his Luna... More touchy-feely Alex in the future, guys, I promise....;);) how do y'all like that side of him?!? He may or may not get a little rough in the next couple of chapters- not yet though.......;);) but who doesn't love a hot man who has his shit together and knows what he wants?!?;);) also, that lovely little car above ^^^ is Alessio's, an Alfa Romeo Spider...

Alessio's POV

The moon hung high in the sky over the forest, a reminder of days long ago when all seemed hopeless. I'm rather ashamed to admit that, after turning 18 and not finding my Mate until now, I had taken to wishing on the stars and talking to the moon. I would wish with my whole heart to find my Mate, and now I had- or rather, she'd found me...

Shaking my head with a growing smile, I sent a wink up to the heavens, to the moon goddess who had finally blessed me with my Mate. I had my Mate by my side, and I had my Pack at my back. I was ready to conquer the world- the European Union, anyway...

Letting the sheer curtain slip through my fingers, I glanced over my shoulder at the sleeping form in my bed. My Mate- my Luna- was in my bed- our bed! The grin grew wider on my face as I watched her, the weight of the world finally free from my shoulders. My Mate was finally here, finally with me, finally in my bed... If only she would finally realize how much I had already grown to love and cherish her...

"Alessio..." Her voice was a soft murmur in the darkness as she sat slowly up and looked at me with worried eyes. As her knuckles turned white around the sheets that she clutched to herself, I realized that she'd had a nightmare- and I wasn't there for her... She didn't seem to have cried, however, which put my mind to ease if only a little bit. "Come back to bed, Alessio..."

Leisurely crossing the space between the balcony window and my bed- our bed- I knelt on the edge beside her as my grin melted slowly into a smirk. Crawling just as leisurely on hands and knees, I had her pinned beneath me in seconds as her breathing hitched. 'Mark her, Mark her, Mark her!'

Oh shit...! My wolf wanted out- now- he wanted to Mark his Mate... I didn't realize he was that close to the surface... Knowing then how close he was, I also realized that, if I continued taunting her like this, he would take over and Mark her- hell, he would probably Mate with her! And I was not about to have that- my Luna would not be hurt by my own wolf, just because I wanted to have a little fun with her... She would not be hurt- now, or ever.

Pressing a light, chaste kiss to her lips, I flashed a smile before rolling off of her onto my side of the bed. It seemed smaller now, my bed, but I wouldn't buy a bigger one for anything in the world- this way, I could keep my Mate forever by my side. "Get some sleep, little one... I'll be right here..."

Putting my arms behind my head, I closed my eyes with a sigh and almost succumbed to sleep, just as my Mate glued her tight little body right up against mine. "Mhhhmmm... Goodnight to you too, Alessio..."

And with those words, my Luna was back asleep.

But knew there would be no sleep for me now, not anymore- not after my Mate just had to entice me like that... Oh, she might not have known what she was doing- that she was giving me an itch under my skin, the one that came with the need to Mark and Mate- but I sure did. The rising bulge beneath the sheets against her thigh was proof enough of that...

It was going to be a long night...

"Alessio..." Luna's voice sing-songed above me, pulling me from what could only be said to be the best sleep of my life. "Wake up, sleepy-head!" Then, I felt a splash of cold water and abruptly jerked fully awake as my Mate grinned down at me as innocently as ever. The now empty pitcher fell from her grasp and rolled onto the floor as she saw the look on my face. "I'm sorry, Alex!" Her voice was a hasty stammer as she held her hands up in surrender. "Mariella told me to, I swear...!"

"Yeah yeah yeah, that sounds like my sister..." Sitting up, I wiped the water from my face and looked down at my now soaking bed. "Yep, definitely my sister..." Rolling my eyes, I stood up as a quiet gasp squeaked past my Mate's lips. Turning, I saw her eyes bug out of her head at the sight of my almost nakedness. Sure, I was in a pair of boxers, but they were low slung and exposed my happy trail- something that my Mate liked, even as ashamed to admit it as she was. A slow smirk curved my lips as I turned fully, my own eyes drinking her in- my Mate- my Luna.

Her head of brown hair was a mess of bed-head, hanging over her shoulders and down her lower back. The blue, almost gray hue of her eyes were framed by long, thick eyelashes that were currently fluttering innocently up at me as she tucked her red lip between her bottom lip. A low purr hummed through her tiny body as she watched me stalk towards her.

Pulling her into my arms with a purr of my own, I winked down at her and took her hand, trailing it down my bare chest. "Luna, little one, you've got to be more comfortable with your body- and mine... We're Mates, little one, and we will eventually see each other naked... Get used to it...!"

Flicking the button on my keyless remote, I sucked in a breath and watched my Mate's face as the garage door whirred open. Luna's mouth dropped to the floor as her eyes greedily drank in the sight of the garage full of cars. "Oh my goddess, Alex," she squealed, throwing her arms around me as I walked to my baby, "these cars are so beautiful!"

"Mhm, not as beautiful as you, my little Mate, not near as beautiful..." Quickly swinging her around from my back to my torso, I shot a wink down at her as she quietly gasped. "This," I murmured against her neck, "is my baby." Settling her back on the floor in front of me, I smiled as her hands stroked almost lovingly along the hood of my black Alfa Romeo Spyder.

Holding the door open for her, I crowded into the small space between the door and the seat as her knees buckled into the seat. "Buckle up." My voice was rather tense, and brusque, but she needed to know that her safety was my upmost priority. Leaning down, I pressed a light kiss to her lips as her hands fumbled almost drunkenly for the seatbelt. Good- I affected her just as she did me...! "Allow me, little one...."

I couldn't help my wandering hands as I pulled the seatbelt tight across her chest, fingers burning a trail of fire along her stomach and to her hips as I clicked the belt in place around her. Smirking, I stood with a wink and stared down at her, testing the length on the seatbelt. "You're stuck with me now, little one- no escaping..."

Quickly walking to my side and doing up my own seatbelt, I took her hand across the console and backed out of the garage, my sister's own Alfa Romeo falling in behind me. She and Dino would trail us to the mall and back, if only for safety measures- sure I was the Alfa around here, but I wasn't about to have any trouble with anybody regarding my Mate...

"Alex," she whispered, voice quiet and shameful, "I don't have any money..."

"Luna, don't you worry your beautiful little head about a thing- I've got tons of money, the Pack has tons of money- relax, little one... I can handle this! I'm your Mate, as well as an Alfa- you should be more surprised if you don't start to smell from being so damn spoiled rotten...!" Once again, I was tense and brusque with her, a fact that I hated, but she needed to know that she didn't have to- shouldn't have to, wouldn't have to, couldn't- worry about things such as money. "Luna, I'm your Mate- I will take care of you.

You will allow me to take care of you- through means of money, food, shelter, security..." My voice trailed off as I smirked and continued, "and sex....." She gulped inwardly with a sigh as I shook my head. "And not only will you allow me to do those things," I finished, "you will enjoy them.... That, I promise you!"
