"Guys? We should probably start walking again," Pomni spoke while standing up. "We won't get anywhere if we just sit around."

"Yeah, you're right," Ragatha agreed. The rest of us slowly stood up, mentally preparing ourselves to start walking again. "Where should we start walking? Like, which direction?"

"How about forward? Let's just keep going from there," Gangle spoke with a timid smile.

"Yeah, sounds good," Zooble replied as we all started walking forward, like Gangle suggested.

"How long do you think we'll be walking? This whole day has been walking," Jax grumbled with his eyes narrowed in annoyance.

"Be patient, jacka*beep*," Zooble hissed. "You aren't the only one that's been walking the entire day."

"It doesn't mean I can't complain," He retorted with his arms crossed.

My eyes rolled in slight irritation, though something within me wasn't actually irritated at Jax or how snappy he seemed towards the others, but would I ever admit that? Of course not. But do I think I'm suddenly getting sick because I'm starting to warm up to him? Um, yes. Very, actually.

"Come on guys, stop fighting," I sighed. "Let's just try to find an exit, or continue walking until Caine gets bored and then lets us out."

"If Caine lets us out," Pomni grumbled while glancing at the floor bitterly.

"He has to though, right?" Ragatha wondered.

"Yeah! I have to get back to my fortress!" Kinger wailed while looking a bit erratic.

"Let's just stay positive. He has to let us out of this hellhole. Right?" I heard myself speaking.

"Right!" Ragatha exclaimed with a smile.

"Way to stay positive," Zooble muttered. "Personally, I have my doubts, since maybe Caine is finally deciding to finish us off. Y/N's gash in their arm proves it."

Pomni walked over to where I was and looked at my gash for a while before speaking. "God. Has an adventure this dangerous happened before me and Y/N got here?"

"N-No, not really," Ragatha answered. "This is really strange when it comes to an adventure. It's why we're all freaking out."

"Mhm. I just want to get to the safety of my own room..." Gangle murmured.

"I think we all do at this point," Zooble agreed with her.

We continued walking while talking, since we have nothing else to do. Though as we were talking, I realized how quiet Jax seemed to be. Though, maybe it's because he was more irritable and was barely paying attention to what we were saying or probably even his surroundings because of how long he seemed to be glancing at the floor, completely lost in his own thoughts. Now, why do I care about it? Well...I don't. But it's just something I noticed.

"How much further are we going to keep walking?" Kinger wondered, his eyes glancing from side-to-side.

"Until we reach the exit. No more breaks," Zooble huffed. "We need to find a way out of this. We're not going to be stuck here for another hour or two."

"Ugh..." Pomni groaned. "This is probably the worst adventure ever. And the most boring one, too."

"Let's not get too negative..." Ragatha muttered, though I could tell she was also pretty nervous. "Caine needs us, and we need him. He won't just keep us here for more than a day."
