~Ch 6~

Volt sighed softly as he sat down next to Obsidian, glancing at him before he spoke. "Ok, quoted by my sire he had said, 'You were quite a close comrade of his. Only until he found out you were betraying him and giving other bots information they shouldn't have been getting. You betrayed him in many other ways as well, which he hadn't said, but he went to go on saying how you were like Starscream and tried to over throw him"

Volt took another pause before speaking again. "He had also said that you would go around killing the Vehicon's for almost no reason. Oh and that the reason you had gotten your scar was because you ended up getting into a little too much trouble, what ever that means, and had a little accident with some spiders acid in Knockouts lab"

Obsidian stayed silent as he watched the sun slowly make its way down. "Is all of that really true?" Obsidian huffed softly as glanced at the smaller bot sitting next to him. "No..... no it's not"

Volt gave a surprised yet also almost happy look when he said that. "Mmm that's good to know" He said softly with a smile as he glanced back to Obsidian admiring how the sun looked when it hit his black and white frame.

Obsidian knew Volt was staring at him but he said nothing, it didn't make him uncomfortable or anything, it was almost calming in a way.

Volt still smiling yawned as he leaned against the tree and watched the setting sun as it was almost completely under the hill, showing beautiful colors in the sky.

His head slowly started to bob up and down and he tried to keep himself awake, but the sleep slowly started to catch up to him as he feel into recharge.

Obsidian glanced at Volt hearing the soft snores coming from him, a small but fond smile crossing his face as he watched him, Volts helm slowly falling to rest on Obsidians shoulder.

His whole frame quickly tensed up, not exactly liking the feeling of being touched, but he didnt want to wake Volt so he stayed quiet and said nothing.

Obsidian ended up slowly without realizing it, fell into recharge as well, his helm gently falling to rest ontop of Volts.

Back at base:

"How in the AllSpark does Volt keep managing to get out of the base without us noticing, AND WITH THAT FRAGGING TRAITOR" Megatron practically shouted as he paced back and forth as the others watched him.

"Would you calm down, just track his life signal and you'll find him" Ratchet said as he pointed to Volts signal that was on the monitor, he was only 10 minutes away.

Megatron huffed as Smokescreen and Bubblebee laughed quietly at him as him and Optimus made there way out.

"Prime I don't get it, how in the Allspark does Volt trust that traitor after all he's done, does he not get it?" He asked as the pair walked side by side.

Optimus shrugged as he grabbed Megatrons servo reassuringly. "Look Megatron maybe we've been a little too over protective and this is his way at rebelling that. Lets bring them back set some new more lose rules and see how it goes"

Megatron sighed as they continued to walk. He thought about it from some time before giving a small nod in agreement. "Ok fine, but if it doesn't work I'm blaming you"

Optimus just nodded a small smile on his face, knowing that Megatron just didn't want to lose Volt again.

Once they had gotten somewhere close to Volts location they had to split up for a bit to try and find them. Which took a little less then 10 minutes, but when they found them Volt was cuddled up to Obsidians side with Obsidians arm wrapped around his small shoulders.

Megatron was fuming at the sight, his sparkling cuddling with someone who he hated more then Starscream. He stormed over to the two of them and grabbed onto Obsidians police lights, pulling him to his pedes. "What in the frag?"

He mumbled out confused from being rudely awoken, only to quickly see Megatrons face right in front of him. Fear crossing his face as he punched him in the helm to get away. "YOU FRAGGER, WHY WOULD YOU WALE SOMEONE LIKE THAT?!" Obsidian shouted as he stood a good 10 feet from the con.

"Well it's not my fault, how do you expect me to react when I see you all cuddled up with my sparkling!" He shouted back, glaring daggers at him.

Obsidian huffed as he crossed his arms and turned away. Volt on the other hand, woke up from being pretty much dropped onto the floor, and still being half asleep he looked back and forth from the pair fighting in front of him, not really processing what's going on.

Optimus chucked softly seeing Volt, helping him up and letting him rest on his shoulder as he tried to wake up.

Megatron growled softly as he shoved past Obsidian and stormed out of the woods, pulling Optimus with him not realizing Volt was resting on his shoulder.

Volt stumbled again as he stood back up, his optics still half closed as he tried to fully wake him self up. Obsidian watched Volt as he tried to do this, his fond smile returning as he moved over and picked Volt up and onto his back struts.

"Just.... Just rest for now" he said quietly, more confusing himself on why he cared so much about Volt right now and why he was letting him even touch or get near him.

He was brought out of his thoughts when Volt wrapped his pedes around his waist and arms around his neck. It gave him a feeling he couldn't describe as he walked, feeling volts small and steady breaths on his neck.

He made his way threw the woods making sure to be more careful now that Volt was on his back, he mind running 1000 miles a minute on what was going on right now.
