~Ch 8 End~

It wasn't long before Obsidian woke up, shifting to lay on his back, pulling Volts body to lay on top of his.

Volt mumbled softly but thankfully stayed asleep.
Obsidian just smiled as he moved one of his servos around Volts waist and traced small shapes on his back. Volt nuzzled himself into his larger frame more, enjoying the warmth and comfort he felt.

There small movement didn't last long before Megatron came knocking on the door. Obsidian panicked, he didn't want Megatron seeing them like this. So he did the only thing he could think of.

He gently moved Volt off him and went to try his best to hid under the berth. He made it just in time to, Megatron had walked in when Volt didn't answer him.

"Sire why are you in here?" Volt asked half asleep and he sat up and rubbed his optics to wake up. Megatron huffed softly and sat down next to Volt on his berth.

"Look Volt, I know I'm harsh on you about Obsidian and doing stuff with him..." Volt opened his mouth to protest, but Megatron stoped him.

"But I don't want you hanging around that.... That Traitor. He's going against me before and hurt others, he'll do it again but I don't want it to be you"

Volt growled softly hearing his sire say stuff like this. "So just because he's 'betrayed' you, you don't trust him and so what if he's hurt others, no offense sire but you were no better either"

Megatron sat there in surprise that Volt talked back to him, but he thought about his words. "Volt listen I don't care what that bot had told you, it's all a lie he can't change even if he wanted to. Once he gets close to you he'll leave you and hurt you. I don't want that to happen"

Obsidian was shocked at what he was hearing, he clinched his servo tightly in anger and trying to stay quiet to not leap out and attack the old war lord.

Volt just huffed as he listened to his sire talk, annoyed but also considering his words. What if
Obsidian really had just been lying to him? He shook his helm, not wanting to think about that.

"... yes sire I'll try and stay away from him" Megatron smiled softly and placed a servo on his shoulder. "Thank you Volt" he said softly before getting up to leave his room, closing the door behind him.

"That fragger, he's such a liar" Obsidian said as he had to squeeze himself out from under Volts berth. Volt laughed softly seeing the big mech try and get out, he slowly got off his berth to help him.

He grabbed onto his servo and pulled him out the rest of the way. "He's just protective, that's all, I'm there only sparkling and sense they lost there other one they've been even more protective over me"

Obsidian gave a small surprised look. "They were gonna have another sparkling?" Volt nodded as he stretched his frame out before moving over to the door.

Obsidian huffed under his breath softly before moving towards the door first and checking to make sure no bots were near by.

When he saw there was none he slowly moved out of Volts room and away from it to make it look like he had come from either the energon storage room or his own room.

Volt just ended up following him out though so it's not like it would do much.  Volt hummed softly as they walked, enjoying the comfortable silence. Until he broke the silence.

"Obsidian I have a question" he hummed softly as he waited for him to talk. "Have you ever been in a relationship before"

He thought about it for a bit, even slowing down to think. "I had before, but it was never a good one, more abusive and manipulating than a loving one"
