I'm not even gonna lie, I'm sick to my stomach thinking about how today is going to go. Niall, Louis, and I agreed to meet in the library for lunch so I don't have to deal with anyone. I slowly get up and get ready for the day. For cheer I'm going to have to wear sweats I guess, so I slip off Louis's sweats and slip on my own that actually fit me. Honestly, I'm thinking about not returning Louis's sweats to him because they're so dang comfortable, but I know I should, so I throw them in my backpack. I pack some jeans and a t shirt and I'm out the door, headed to school. I pull up into the school parking lot right next to Harry's car and my feet propel myself inside. Just ignore everyone, Jennifer. You'll be okay. I walk into the girls change room and ignore a couple stares from a couple girls.

"You better watch out." Someone whispers to me and I look up to see Alyssa headed straight to me. Pure hatred is marked all over her face and I shove my backpack into my locker before confronting her.

"Jennifer." She says my name, furiously. "Who the hell do you think you are? You think you can just get anyone you want in bed with you, don't you? You're such a fucking slut." She begins, but she's no where near done, so I just stand there, refusing to show any emotion at all. "Marcel told me what you did. Are those marks from him or Harry, huh?" She asks, referring to the fresh hickeys on my neck. I don't respond. "You better hope to God you don't end up in a room alone with me anytime soon or I swear to God you'll regret ever messing with my boyfriend."

"Nice to see you, too." I blurt out. I can honestly say I'm proud of my comment. But then it happens.

I don't have time to do anything before her fist connects with my jaw, the force of her punch pushes me to the ground and I hear some girls scream. "You think you just own the school, don't you?" She whispers in my ear before pulling me up by the collar of my shirt. "Stand up, coward." She yanks up on my shirt, choking me until I finally stand to my feet.

"I'm not going to fight you." I say.

"Oh that's right, you'll just have sex with my boyfriend behind my back." I don't say anything. I don't deny it, because I know it's going to be like this all day and I just don't want to waste my breath. "It's okay, though. Marcel told me that I'm better." She winks a bit, "you're one cheap prostitute, aren't you?" I take a deep breath and finally let my hand caress where she punched my jaw. I tenderly touch it, wincing at the pain. "Be ready. I'm going to make your life a living hell." She says before brushing past me. I slowly sit down on the bench, a couple girls immediately slide away from me, making some remarks. I sit there in silence for a while.

"Why do you let her say that shit about you?" A girl asks me. I just turn to her. I watch her hazel eyes. She looks so sympathetic and I just give her a small smile.

"It's not worth it to fight her. She will always get her way." I shrug. She sits down on the bench beside me as I caress my jaw.

"I'm going to talk to coach and tell her you need to go to the nurse. You don't need to be practicing in this condition." She smiles warmly before she stands up and walks away. Well that was unexpected. So anyway, she comes back and walks me down to the nurses office.

"What's your name?" I ask her, realizing I've cheered with her for two years and I don't know her name.

"Sage." She smiles, brightly.

"Thank you for everything... You're very kind." She just laughs a bit as we make it to the nurses office. I have to ice my jaw a bit but she said it'll be fine, just a bit of bruising. Sage stayed with me all throughout practice and we just talked. She talked to me about everything but the drama which I was very thankful for. Finally the bell rings, releasing us to first period. Here comes my day from hell.
