"Somewhere another pretty vein just dies. I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see that you're the antidote for everything except for me, me."

I can hardly believe what I'm reading right now. She twisted the truth to make it seem like I'm the bad guy. She stole my boyfriend, not vise versa. I can't just sit here and let her drag mine and Alex's name through the dirt like that.

I check my business email and see one from Perez, like he said in the article. I write nothing but the truth to him in hopes of clearing our names. Well, mostly Alex's. Her attack was meant to be aimed at me but she just had to bring him into it.

5 Hours Later

I'm currently in my hotel room playing The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on my Nintendo DS when Alex walks in.

"What's wrong?" He asks after he sees my pouty facial expression. "You didn't see it?" I raise my eyebrows in surprise. "See what?" He furrows his. I turn off my DS and sigh, "Lets just say your bitchy high school mistake has come back to bite you in the ass and me along with it." "Madison?" He looks at me in shock and I nod, "Perez Hilton covered it on his website and sent an email to me and you."

"Matt handles all the business emails, so I haven't heard anything about it yet. What did she say?"

I show him the article on my phone. "Wow." He says after reading it. "Yeah. This is what I'm dealing with right now. I did respond to Perez with the truth so we'll see how that goes." I put my phone down. "Are we ever going to talk about what happened at the pool?" He changes the subject. "What's there to say other than it was a mistake?" I look at my lap. "What was a mistake?" There's a hint of hurt in his voice. "What we did. I mean, I could've just said 'maybe another time' but no, I was stupid to not remember that Justin would be back eventually." I pull my knees up to my chest.

He looks at me for a moment, as if he's trying to figure me out then suddenly says, "You like Justin."

This time I'm the one that's looking at him but in surprise. "What? No. I would never-" "Every time you're around or talk about him, you do this thing where you can practically feel your want for him. I know this because you used to do the same thing when I was around." He says. "I didn't used to, I still-" I cut myself off. "You don't have to finish. I can feel it. Even the night at the pool I felt it, but not just for me. I want you to remember that you might not feel it, but I can. You can't hide your feelings from me, I'll eventually figure it out." He gently takes hold my hand. "And right now, your heart is beating really fast."

I pull it away from him, "What are you? A fucking psychic?"

"Might be." He does his signature half smile that makes me go absolutely crazy. I gulp and can't help but steal a glance at his lips.

"He's just doing this to make you second guess your feelings for Justin." One side of me says. "Do it, kiss him. Nothing bad is going to happen." The other argues.

He places a hand under my chin and brings his face closer to mine. "You like the way I smile, don't you?"

I look down but he just raises my head again. "And you like when I look you in the eyes. It turns you on, doesn't it?"

I feel my cheeks heat up and the butterflies in my stomach start fluttering around. God dammit, I want him so bad right now. He knows every one of my weaknesses which means I have to figure out his. I start to think back to when we first met to now and what I did to make him hot and bothered.

"Why don't you just kiss me already?" He leans in closer. "Because that would be too easy." I whisper and stand up.

"You like when I run my hands down your chest and dangerously close to your groin." I do as I'm saying. "And you really like it when I go down further."

He abruptly grabs my hand and stands up, looking down at me with pure lust in his eyes. "You like when I kiss behind your ear and play hard to get." I continue with a chuckle, "And don't forget when I get a little rough with you."

He turns me around so I take his spot and my back is facing the bed. "It turns you on, doesn't it?" I mock him then he aggressively kisses me and practically rips off my clothing.

I don't see anything wrong with another round of casual sex. Especially since Justin and Cisco are in another state for an award show and don't come back until tomorrow. It's perfect timing if you ask me.

October 2nd

"We won!" Cisco jumps out of the taxi. "Really? Congrats!" I hug him. Justin was nominated for best bassist and Cisco was nominated for best guitarist. It wasn't a huge award show, just a little one with nothing but bands and an small audience there. When Justin gets out of the taxi, my stomach starts to turn but I put on a friendly act. "Congrats, Justin." I smile and hug him. "I missed you."

Alex snickers from beside me and I shoot him a glare. After Alex left last night, I wanted to talk to Justin but I knew he was gone. I really did miss him despite what Alex thinks.

"I have a major hangover so I'm going to bed." Cisco says and starts walking to the hotel lobby. "Yeah, I'm pretty tired too." Justin rubs his eyes and follows Cisco.

I go back to my room and text Ronnie when none other than Alex comes in. I mean, who else would it be?

"I missed you." He mocks me. "I did miss him." I roll my eyes. "Was that before or after we had sex?" He asks with a chuckle. I look at him in disbelief before standing up, "I don't have time for this." "You had time for me last night. Which you really seemed to enjoy." His lips break out in a smirk. The same feeling I got in my stomach with Justin happens when I see that devilish yet charming smirk.

I open the door and motion him out, "Go." "You going to meet your little boyfriend?" He approaches me. "He's not my boyfriend and no. He's back in Las Vegas. I just want you out of my room." I sigh impatiently. "So we're just friends with benefits now?" He furrows his eyebrows. "No, I have stuff to do." I lie. "You're a liar." He chuckles.

"Oh, I forgot that you're literally a fucking psychic. I just want to be alone."

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that."

"Why?"

"You don't think I saw those cuts last night?"

I look up at him and groan, "I slipped up okay? I'm trying my best here." "I know you are but let me help you." He softly grabs my hand and I tense up.  "Trust me, it's not anything sexual. Just me, you, television, and Chinese food."

I can't help but laugh because I didn't think he remembered that Chinese food is my second favorite food. I told him back in high school and haven't said it since.

"Surprised?" He chuckles. "Maybe." I smile. "See? I do care. I bet you don't remember my second favorite food." He says. "Peanut butter." I raise my eyebrows. "How do you remember something as little as peanut butter?" He asks. "You ate the whole jar of it and my mom was pissed. How could I not remember?" I laugh.

"So are we ordering Chinese food or what?"

"Sure." I smile again.

"A constellation of tears on your lashes. Burn everything you love, then burn the ashes. In the end everything collides. My childhood spat back out the monster that you see."
