Chapter 3 My Second Home

I woke up around 3:30 crying. I had a nightmare.

~Flashback~

I woke up, and looked at the clock, 11:25 am, then decided to go downstairs. Hmm, Darry and Soda musta went to work. I wonder where Pony is. I made myself a coffee, and read the newspaper. Maybe I'll go home to get some clothes. On my way over, it was like a ghost town. I opened my door, and my parents were waiting for me. They had handcuffs snapped on their wrists. "YOU STUPID BITCH! YOU GOT US STUCK IN JAIL.. GUESS WHAT! YOU AINT GETTIN' RID OF US THAT EASY.." My dad shouted. Then mom jumped on me so I couldn't move. "Johnny! Help!" I looked all around but he just stood over me. "You know what? Dad was right yesterday, I don't care about yah." Then he kicked me in the head, and knocked me out.

~Present~

Pony stirred beside me. "Hey, what's wrong?" He said with his sexy morning voice turning to face me. OMG, that was so hot! "Nothin.. Just a bad dream." I said turning away from him, feeling bad I woke him up for such a stupid reason. "Did you wanna talk about it?" He asked sitting up, rubbing his eyes. "Sure.. I guess." I sat up, and he set me in his lap, and wrapped his arms around me comfortably. "Well, I woke up and no one was here, so I decided to go home to get some clothes, and then when I opened the door.." I sniffled. "God I sound stupid.." "You sound fine, now continue." He smiled, and put his head on my shoulder. I blushed and continued. "Ugh, where was I... Oh yah, anyway my parents were there, they broke out of jail, and threw me to the ground. Then I called for Johnny,and he told me that what dad said was true, and he doesn't care about me. Then he kicked me and knocked me out. I woke up, then you woke up. Then I told you." I laughed a little. He chuckled a little bit. "I think I got that.. Look, I'm sure that won't happen, Johnny really cares about you. And your parents were stupid for telling you that." "Thanks Pony." I started to get up, "I'll be right back, I gotta get somethin to drink." I kissed his cheek, and left. I swore his cheeks were red.. Ugh probably not, why would he. It's not like he'd like me like that anyway. *sigh* I got some water and noticed some sniffling. "Soda?" I walked over to the coach, and he looked up. His eyes were red and puffy.

~Soda's Point of View~

Oh no.. She's gonna think I'm weak. She sat beside me, and I sat up. She started rubbing my back. "Soda, what's wrong..? You can tell me, I won't judge, I'll understand." "Ok.. Well I'm just thinking about my ex, she really hurt me, and me and Steve got in a huge fight. It's stupid I know." I looked down. "Soda, it's ok. I miss some of my exes too, but I try to think to myself 'Hey, they're not worth it. If they can't see your an amazing person, then they don't deserve you.' And I'm sure Steve will get over it.. Does it happen a lot?" "Yeah.. We got into a argument about how I missed Sandy. Then it ended with him telling me I'm stupid since I.." I stopped. "You what?" "I dropped out.." I spoke softly, hoping she didn't hear. "Soda, that's fine. As long as your happy with what you do, then good. Don't let people tell you otherwise." She smiled. Damn.. I love her smile. I hugged her. "Thanks Sarah. You really helped me." I said into her shoulder. "No problem. Anytime, if you ever have a problem tell me. I want to know!" I was really happy after she said that. We pulled away. "Good night Sare-Bear!" I winked. She kissed my cheek, and stood up. What is this I'm feeling?

~Sarah's Point of View~

"Night Pepsi-Cola!" He laid back down and I went back upstairs. Pony wasn't in bed. Where'd he go? I thought. I walked through the door, and he picked me up and swung me around. "Haha, Hey Pone!" He set me down in bed, and crawled in beside me. He closed his eyes, and I put my arms around his waist. "Night Pony!" He pulled me closer to him, and whispered, "Good night Sarah." Then kissed my head. God he drives me crazy! I thought falling back to sleep.
