Chapter - 15 💌

"Neil.... I"

"Yes Shalini" Neil said in his deep voice.

"I know you're really a conserve person but that doesn't mean you will yell or scold anyone just because you're short tempered. So please from next onwards think twice before telling someone anything"

Neil sat there with mouth shut.  He couldn't believe that someone has that audacity to give him a lecture to how behave properly.

Shalini looked at him and realised what she has just done now. She quickly lowered her face and closed  her eyes. Neil hold her hand and said.

"Look at me Shalini"

Shalini didn't dare to look at him.

Neil put his hand in her chin and made her look at him. As soon she looked at up she saw one pair of blue eyes looking at her intensely. She immediately got mesmerized in the eyes.  She understood those eyes has something for her but that isn't hate... It's something else.... More powerful more... Something more....

She uttered , "Your eyes are beautiful...."

Neil's jaw clenched. He wanted to say something but Shalini put her hand on his cheeks and started caressing on it.

"Why are you like this Neil.... I know you're also a human.... You behave like this.... This is not the real you... This is not--"

"Where's your home?" Neil asked coldly.

Shalini looked confused.

"Huh?"

"Don't you wanna go home? Where's your stopage just tell me????"

Shalini's face become neutral. She told him the directions. Neil just nodded.

SHALINI'S P.O.V

I asked him so many things but he just ignored me like I never existed. Why does he react so much about his eye colours.... It's so rare and so beautiful that anybody can fall in love with them-- wait? What! Fall in love?? What I'm saying.... I'm falling in love with him?  No no no it's just a mere crush but why does his words effect me so much that it tears my heart. I really felt bad and upset that he just ignored my question.... One time he was sweet and told me sorry and the next moment he became that cold person. I saw his eyes .... It has something for me and it's definitely not hate...... Why I'm being so delusional yar... Shalini come back to reality--

Suddenly the car stopped with a force.
Shalini widen her eyes and saw Neil was sitting with a cold expression less face.

Driver Uncle said , "Sir we've arrived at the stoppage"

Neil just nodded and looked at Shalini.

Shalini Understood that Neil wanted her to leave. She didn't said anything. She just said byee to which Neil said to the driver.

"Let's go Uncle"

Shalini couldn't believe that he didn't reciprocate her bye. She mentally palm herself that from whom she's expecting a bye.... From the school's cold boy? Who doesn't give a damn fuck about anyone.... And she's not an exception.... She went her home with a heavy heart.

She texted Reet that she reached home. Reet asked her if something happened between them. Shalini flashbacked those moments and smiled. But her smile dropped when she recalled those last moments. But she tried to stay positive.

"I know you're different Neil. Different from everyone. And in this little time I can't change you.... I also need time in that... But I'll change you for sure one day.... It's Shalini's promise"
