Regret

Adriana

I left early this morning because i received a text from one of my mens. He told me one of my enemies in business was sending me death threats including my family and including her that's why i rushed to the city to take an action and sent some body guards to guard Solane whenever she goes.

I told tito and tita to tell Khyssa that i filed a divorce but that's not true. They already knew that were married and they're happy but when they found out that she's on danger because she's connected with me they want us to separate but i had to fight my love for her even though this will make her heart break again.

I'm sorry, Solace.

Even though i'm powerful because of my connections and my money, i can't rid of them just like that. They're a big syndicate here in the Philippines and has a lot of connections that's why i need to be careful with my actions. One wrong move and i'll sacrifice the life of my love ones.

I arrived outside on her condominium with a heavy heart doubting my own decision and texted her,

meet me outside your condo.

I gently wiped my tears and acted like everything's okay and took a deep breath.

A few minutes of waiting i saw her walking towards me looking so gorgeous as always.

"A-adriana..." she was about to reach my hand but she shook her hand off.

"Your mom and dad already told you am i right?" i said coldly but my heart's already breaking when i saw her crying.

"Adriana, sabihin mong hindi totoo iyon! Y-you love me right? mahal mo ako, sabihin mo."

"I didn't, Khyssa." i love you, i'm sorry.

"Adriana naman! sinabi mong mahal mo ako! ginagawa mong hobby ang pananakit sa puso ko. Maawa ka naman oh! hindi ka ba napapagod? m-minahal kita ng sobra sobra at gaganitohin mo lang ako? Mahal mo ako at alam mo 'yan."

My heart keeps aching everytime i hear her sobs.

"I don't love you! I just played with your feelings! Can't you understand?!"

I just shouted at her. I'm a a bad person, i hate myself.

"Pero pinakasalan mo ako!"

"Ikinasal lang ta'yo sa papel! why can't you understand that? i just played with your own feelings, after that night. After you satisfied my needs nagsawa na ako sa'yo so i'm leaving you!" she's crying and I can't do anything about it.

"Why are you telling me this Adriana? You're such a liar!"

I'm doing this for your own good.

"When did i lied to you? all that i've said was true. I won't love somebody like you. You're so childish at pangit kasama. Who would love somebody like you?"

Fuck what am i even talking about?

I can't handle this anymore.

I turned around and was about to leave but she stopped me and knelt down. My heart broke even more after seeing her like that.

"A-adriana, please. Don't leave me, i can't leave without you. Mahal na mahal kita. P-please wag mo akong iwanan." she hold my hand but i was just staring at her coldly and removed my hand.

I turned around and didn't looked back at her again. She called my name but i just ignored her.

My heart felt like it's ripping off itself as i'm seeing her beg to me not to leave her. This is the only way i know that will make us separate.
