As Ram and Tripura settled into their quiet moment in their room, the sounds of laughter and chatter from the rest of the family in the haveli seemed miles away.
But soon, the door creaked open, and a familiar face peeked inside — Rishabh.
His mischievous grin was unmistakable, and his presence immediately lightened the mood."Bhaiya, bhabhi, mind if I interrupt your romance?" Rishabh asked, his voice playful. He was a bundle of energy, the youngest in the family, and had always looked up to Ram like an older brother.
Tripura, still feeling a little overwhelmed by the earlier attention, couldn’t help but smile at his enthusiasm.
"Come in, Rishabh," Ram said, trying to stifle a laugh. "We’re just enjoying some peace before the madness begins again."
Rishabh, not one to miss a chance to tease, looked at Tripura with a knowing smile. "Bhabhi, I heard the whole haveli is already buzzing about you. You've caused quite the stir today!"
Tripura chuckled nervously, hoping she could escape the constant compliments. "I don’t know about all that. It’s just... I’m still getting used to everything."
Rishabh plopped down next to her on the couch, his mischievous eyes twinkling. "Well, it’s a good thing you have me as your guide. I know how this family works. You just have to stay calm and smile through it all!"
Tripura raised an eyebrow, slightly skeptical. "Oh? And how do you manage that?"
Rishabh winked. "Easy. Just give them what they want — a little attention, some fun, and when things get overwhelming, you make an exit. Works every time!"
Ram laughed at his cousin’s audacity, but Tripura felt a sense of relief. It was nice to see someone in the family who was more relaxed and easy - going.
They quickly struck up a conversation, and soon, Tripura found herself sharing stories with Rishabh about her life in the city, her career, and the adjustments she was making to her new role as part of the Kapoor family.
Rishabh listened intently, throwing in occasional jokes to keep the mood light.
Their bond grew effortlessly, like that of an older sister and younger brother. They teased each other like true siblings, and Tripura found herself appreciating his presence.
He was a stark contrast to the formality she had initially felt from the other members of the Kapoor family.
Rishabh became her unexpected ally, someone she could lean on when the chaos of family gatherings became too much.

As the air in the room shifted to a more relaxed vibe, Rishabh sprawled comfortably on the couch next to Tripura, while Ram leaned against the armchair, already wary of his younger cousin's upcoming mischief.
"Alright, bhabhi," Rishabh began, rubbing his hands together like he was preparing for a grand tale. "Since you’re a part of the family now, you deserve to know all the secrets about my beloved Ram bhaiya."
Ram groaned instantly, shooting him a warning glare. "Rishabh, don’t you dare."
Tripura turned to Rishabh with a newfound curiosity. "Oh, I have to hear this. Tell me everything!"
Rishabh grinned mischievously, ignoring Ram’s protests. "Where do I start? Hmm… oh! Did Ram bhaiya tell you that he used to be terrified of dogs when he was little?"
