The rest of the day passed in a blur. Ram spent most of it resting, curled up in bed, hugging the pillow that carried Tripura's fragrance.

The faint scent of lavender and something uniquely her made him feel strangely at peace. It had been two years since he had slept this soundly, without stress, nightmares, or exhaustion weighing him down.

As the evening settled in, a warm golden hue from the setting sun streamed through the curtains. Ram stirred, stretching lazily with a yawn. His body felt lighter, refreshed-something he hadn't felt in a long time. He sat up, rubbing his neck, and looked around. The cozy familiarity of Tripura's room made his heart swell.

With a content sigh, he got out of bed and made his way to the washroom to freshen up. The cold splash of water against his face woke him up fully, making him realize just how much he had needed this rest.

When he stepped out, the sight before him made his heart skip a beat.

Tripura was seated on the couch, deeply engrossed in her laptop. Her delicate features glowed in the soft room light, her hair tied up in a messy bun with a few stray strands framing her face. A pair of glasses rested on her nose, making her look effortlessly adorable. Ram's lips curled into a small smile. He didn't recall ever seeing her in glasses before. She looked... angelic.
