(Rogue's P.O.V)
Y/N's head lowered and the shadows consumed her until her entire body was covered in pure black.
'These are shadows but why can't I do anything about it!?'
"Y/N!"I yelled.
"She's fine,I only brought her somewhere away from here"her future self responded.
"If you dare touch her i'll-"
"You'll what?I'm Y/N,remember?Would you have the courage to even lay a finger on me?"she asked.
"What do you want from me,from Y/N!?"I growled.
"We're only making sure you don't die,because if you die,my Rogue would die and the same thing would happen to me if Y/N would die"she explained.
I continued struggling until the shadows tightened around me making me stop.
"What is this!?I'm pretty damn sure these aren't shadows!"I yelled.
"Your right,they aren't shadows...those are demons"
"W-what!?"
"I'm a Demon Slayer remember?I've learnt to control demons"she explained.
Oh God,what has my innocent,beautiful Y/N become?What happened in 7 years that turned her into this?Well,whatever happened to Y/N I would definitely stop,or try to stop anyway...
(Time Skip)
There was a loud crash and future Y/N looked up.
"Well i'll be damned,that dumbass broke the gate"she grolwed.
"What gate!?"I yelled.
"The one I used to get here,that means-"she was cut off as she looked down and her hands begun fading away.
"Damn you"she cursed.
Within a matter of minutes she had completely disappeared and when she vanished in her place was Y/N,the demons disappeared and I rushed to her and pulled her into a tight hug.
"Is i-it over?"she asked.
"Yeah,everything's fine now"I said,we stayed like that embracing each other for awhile.
"Everything will be alright"
(At le ball)
You were dressed in a fancy dress and you were looking around for your Shadow Dragon Slayer.When you found him,you cleared your throat and he looked at you before smiling.
"Where were you?"he asked.
"This dress is poofier than it looks,y'know"you said making him chuckle.
"How are you feeling?"he asked.
"I'm alright"you responded.
"Really?You seemed a bit off back there"he responded.
"No...I was just thinking"you said,looking away.
"About what?"Rogue asks.
"It's just some stuff,nothing too important"you muttered.
"If it was nothing important why do you seem so bothered by it?"Rogue asked worriedly.
"It just..."you pause to take a deep breath."You really think that in 7 years i'd turn into her?And you'd tur...nevermind"
"Y/N,your not gonna become that witch we saw back there,i'm not gonna let you turn into her"he said,grabbing your shoulders.
"And what if i'm the reason why...you turned into the Rogue from the future?What if the reason you coudn't protect Frosch was because you were so caught up in protecting me?"you asked.
"I'll protect both you and Frosch,i'll do anything for you two...nothing means more to me than you and the little guy"he said,making you smile.
"Well,whatever happens i'll let you know...I will do anything and everything to drag your stupid-ass self back into the light...just in case"you said making the guy chuckle.
"And I will do anything to make sure you stay the same...although you could use a few changes"
What was that supposed to mean!?Last I heard,you loved someone just the way they are...and I heard you didn't give a damn about their faults/flaws...just...wow.He seemed to see your expression and he placed his arms on your waist.
"I'm just kidding,your perfect,you don't need any changes"
"Yeah,yeah"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing"
"God,i'm never leaving you...you seem to make life interesting,in both good and bad ways"
"Yeah,I love you too"
