Chapter 24:Tartaros' Fall

"Mard Geer,you did well..."Zeref complimented."You were just about to revive E.N.D,you can sleep now"

"Mard Geer can realize...what...you wish"Mard muttered.

"You can't..."Zeref said blankly before he turned Mard into a book and made the book burn.

"Y-you made him,and now your just gonna make him burn!?"you exclaimed in anger.

"Yes...I didn't need him anymore I wanted to finish my fight against you today,however,Acnologia got in our way...Will he end history once again?Or will a miracle happen?I'm not sure..."Zeref paused.

"What the hell are you saying?"you and Natsu ask together.

"If you survive this desperate situation...I will...give you more despair"he growled,and with that he turned around and walked away.

"That bastard...he took the book with him"Gray growled.

"Zeref..."you and Natsu muttered.

All of a sudden Natsu ran off into some direction,alarming both you and Gray.He was yelling things and you just watched him run off...

You,Sting and Rogue were in some group where all the dragons were sitting looking high and mighty like dragons do.Each of them were sitting side-by-side looking at us with grins on their scaly faces.

"Igneel,together with everyone's bravery...have driven away Acnologia"a white dragon said."You did well trying to destroy Face,Wendy"

Rogue was leaning against you for support while he was staring at a pitch black dragon,Sting was looking at another white dragon beside it.

"I'm pretty sure I killed you..."Sting muttered.

"I'm certain I saw you die,Skiadrum..."Rogue added.

"Wow...you see your parents who were alive all this goddamned time and this is how you treat 'em..."you mutter.

"Who's this?"the black dragon asks as it lowered his head so he was eye-to-eye level with you.

"I-i'm Y/N...R-Rogue's girlfriend"you said that last part so that the dragon woudn't harbor any thoughts of eating you.

"Oh~,what have you been up to Rogue?"Skiadrum asked slyly making the guy blush.

"Anyway..."the white dragon said,clearing it's throat as Skiadrum raised his head again."We can alter human memories"

"Igneel was against us doing so,though,what we intended to do was to grant you Dragon Slayers both the memory of killing us and the results you would actually achieve had you actually done so..."Skiadrum explained.

"Even so...to call us dead would only be half incorrect,we are already dead"the white dragon said.

"A very long time ago,our souls were extracted from us by Acnologia's Dragon Slaying Magic...that is why in addition to the two obejectives of...stopping your dragonification and defeating Acnologia,the reason we remained in your body was to prolong our own lives"the Sky Dragon explained.

"Once we left your bodies,we cannot return to them...the strength we displayed today we did so for the first and for the last time.This is yet another reason we did not show ourselves until now"Skiadrum muttered.

"Igneel was unable to defeat Acnologia,then again,Igneel only had what little strength he managed to retain in his half-dead state...O,humans,please permit not Igneel's to suffer in blemish...there was never a dragonso gallant...nor any as human-loving as Igneel..."the metallic dragon muttered.

"We have not the chance to tell you everything but,alas,the time has come...the time for us to part..."the Sky Dragon said sadly.

All the dragons spreaded their wings and majestically flew up into the air,they flapped their wings as they stayed in the air,looking at their Dragon Slayer children once more.

"O humans,the days we fought one another...the days we hated one another,those are all in the past.Today...we are able to join hands together in peace"

"The age of us dragons,in one sense has come to an end"Weisslogia began.

"The future from here on out shall be forged by the power of humanity"Skiadrum continued.

"In accordance with the covenant made 400 years ago between Dragon and man...the Magna Carta...we dragons shall continue to watch over and protect mankind...for all eternity"

And with that the dragons disappeared...

"Thank you,Weisslogia"Sting muttered.

"Skiadrum"Rogue murmured.

"Sting!Rogue!Y/N!Your back!"Orga happily yelled.

"Lector and Frosch too"Rufus added.

"And..."Yukino began."Lady Minerva"

You,Sting and Rogue looked at each other and smiled,all of a sudden Rogue does a really dumb move and slides his arm around your shoulder and pulls you close.

"Welcome back!"Yukino said with a warm smile.

The rest of the night was spent partying and you were just sitting in the corner thinking about what had happened in the entire Tartaros ordeal.Was I really a demon Zeref created?If so,why did he seal me away?And more importantly...why did Zeref put demon particles in me?

"Y/N?"Rogue asked.

"Yeah,what?"you turn to face him and give him a fake smile.

"Is something up?Your not partying like the rest of us"he asked worriedly.

"I'm fine,Rogue,i'll just be going for a walk for a bit"you mutter,standing up and walking out of Sabertooth.

>>A few minutes later<<

After walking around for a bit,you stopped,feeling a strange presence near you.You coudn't tell if it was a person of whatever but from the feeling it's aura gave off you could tell whatever this thing was...it was bad.

"Who are you?"you asked,looking around."Or...what are you?"

You heard a low chuckle and you turned around,only to end up face-to-face with the most powerful dark mage of all time...

Zeref...

A/N:

Hai guys!Anyway my exams are FINALLY over so I decided to update!And i'll know the results of my exams next week *crosses fingers hoping I get good grades*.I mean,i'm a pretty smart person so I guess i'll be okay but some exams were hard...basically,the perfect score is 80/80 and the passing score is 42/80.I don't know if you consider the passing score high or low...from past experience I normally get 60 or 70 so I guess i'll be just fine...

School stuff aside...
