I thought u hated me?-solby

Nobody's POV: its Saturday, 28th of November, Sam and Colby are both stressing, Sam's worrying that Colby isn't gonna show up at all, Colby is worried that he is gonna be at the wrong spot on the beach. They are both about to go to bed, Sam scrolls on TikTok for awhile and Colby goes straight to sleep.

sams POV:

i wake up at 1pm in the afternoon after having an amazing sleep. I remember that im meeting Colby later, well that is if he shows up. I havn't told Tara or Corey about Colby or Danny, i decided that if he does show up then it'll be a good suprise, especially since that means they will be able to see devyn and Jake again. I slowly get up and stretch my back with my arms above my head. I check my phone and se a message from Danny,

'good luck!, tell me if it goes well, i want ALL the details,(: '

'Thankyou!' I reply

i get up and go to my bathroom that is connected to my room. I grab my toothbrush and my watermelon flavoured toothpaste and brush my teeth. Go to my walk in closet and pick out my favourite clothes. Some grey sweatpants, a darker grey shirt with a skeleton sticking the rude finger up, some dark greasy and white converse and some jewlery. Two pretty plain rings, one the promise ring that Colby gave me before we parted ways and the other is one that Tara made me with carved flowers running along it. I also have a cross necklace around my neck that my sister Alison gave me before i left.

By the time I have gotten out of, bed gotten dressed and brushed my teeth it rolled around to 2 pm. I order some maccas, chicken nuggets and a grape Fanta slushie off of doordash and wait for it to come, when it got there i realised that it was the same order i got the day me and Colby went to camp. I sit there eating in silence just thinking about Colby. I guess if he shows up he will see me and realise that it's me. Hopefully he still wants to see me after all theses years.

—time skip—

its now 5pm and im about to go out, i grab my keys, phone and wallet before walking downstairs and see Tara sitting on the couch. "Hey tar, im going to meet up with somebody i havnt seen in a while"

"who?" She asks

"if it works out ill bring them back home, but if i come back home crying, please give me a hug" i say

"awww ofcourse i will Sammy, just be careful, and dont get hurt" she smiles

"Thankyou, bye" i smile back.

i head out the door and get into my tesla. I drive to Starbucks's and get a vanilla bean frappe. Once they give it too me i say Thankyou and drive off. It's now 5 30 and i still have to drive to the beach. Im stressing soo hard right now, i really hope he saw the post and is gonna show up. I miss him more than anything in the world, i just hope he feels the same way.

After driving around in circles for what felt like forever, i finally found a parking spot. I go on my phone once more looking at Danny's post, god please i hope he saw it. After staring at it for a couple minutes i noticed a comment. It says "GUYSSSS!, i ran onto him in la and showed him the post, HE SAID HE WAS GONNA SHOW UPPPP!!!!!"

my heart starts beating faster. I look at the reply's, some of them are saying that the girl is lying, and some are so happy that she apparently found him. I hope she isn't lying. Ho out of my tesla and walk out onto the beach, i walk down onto the water and looked around, i dont see him yet, i decide to go for a walk to the rocks on the other side of the beach, cause he could be anywhere around this beach. There isn't too many people scattered along the sand. I dont stop looking around. I look out as the sun starts to set along the horizon. Eventually i reach the rocks and i didnt see Colby the whole time, i stay here for another 40 minutes patiently waiting. At this point i have been waiting for one and a half hours. My eyes fill with tears. He didnt come...

"Colby's POV: 

I run out the door to my car, im a little late cause  couldn't stop stressing about who it might be or if this was a bad choice. I left Jake and devyn a note saying i might be out late and stuck it to the bench. I go as fast as i can to the beach and get out, i walk past the sandstone and onto the sand. I look around and dont see anyone I recognise. I thought id recognise whoever wanted to see me right away, they must be o a different part of the beach. Or this might just be a set up, it's probably a setup, who the fuck would wanna see me, if they did then why wouldn't they just text or call me? I'll hang around a little longer, walk along the water for a bit. The water isn't to cold. I look around and still dont see anyone i know. Why did i even show up, this probably isn't real, i watch as the sun starts to set. I may as well admire the sky before I go home. I wanna sit down but not on the sand, i look around and see a big, kinda flat boulder, that overlooks the stretch of ocean surrounding us. As i get closer i notice a person siting on the edge of the cliff. They have a hoodie on so i cant see their facial details. i look closely as i see them wipe there eyes and get up. They turn around and my eyes go wide as i see a tuft of fluffy blonde hair and my blue eyes.
