Vihaan ~

After all the rituals, Radhika had dragged her sister back to their room once again, leaving me alone after trying to pull my leg that I was not going to get the company of my wife tonight.

It did turn out to be a long night.

The next day when Shivanya stepped out of her room while I was stepping out of mine for the checkout, I could not keep my eyes off her.

I stepped out of my room, ready to go for the checkout, when I saw her. Shivanya was standing in the hallway, just stepping out of her room.

I stood there for a moment, just watching her. Her hair was still soft from sleep, falling over her shoulders in gentle waves.

She looked beautiful in that red suit, but more than that, my attention was on her maang filled with vermillion of my name. That mangalsutra hanging around her neck telling me that she was my wife now.

And the sound of her bangles as she moved continued to tell me that she was mine and I was hers.

She didn't notice me at first, lost in her own thoughts as she stepped forward.

But when she did glance up and meet my gaze, her eyes widened slightly, and I could see the faintest blush spreading across her cheeks.

I was caught off guard by how she made something as simple as stepping out of her room look so beautiful.

I shook my head, forcing myself to focus.

"Ready to go?" I asked, trying to sound normal, trying to ignore my heart which was beating so fast, looking at her.

She nodded, still looking a little shy, but I could see the hint of a smile playing on her lips too. I took a step forward, still unable to completely pull my eyes away from her.

"Vihaan beta, teri hi biwi hai, baad mein dekhte rehna usko, filhaal jaane ka time ho raha hai." Dad said, slapping his hand over my shoulder and Yash joined him too, walking next to Shivanya.

(TRANSLATION - Vihaan beta, she is your wife, you can look at her as much as you want later. Right now, it's time for us to leave.)

"Waise bhabhi, aap toh kaafi khoobsurat lag rahi hain, Vihaan ko paagal karne ka irada hai kya?" He asked her and her eyes widened in response before she blushed.

(TRANSLATION - By the way, Bhabhi, you're looking quite beautiful. Are you planning to drive Vihaan crazy?)

"Yash beta meri beti ko pareshaan karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, chalo hato." Dad said and pushed him back to walk with me while he walked with Shivanya now.

(TRANSLATION - Yash beta, there's no need to trouble my daughter, now move aside.)

Looked like everyone was going to get the chance to walk with her except for me.

"Aman uncle yahan kuch zyada hi jalne ki badboo aa rahi hai." Yash said, looking at me before laughing.

(TRANSLATION - Aman uncle, it seems like there's too much of a burning smell here.)
