Chapter Two - Love me Right

Arriving outside of the McDonalds, I glance into the window to try and find Hyo Rin. That was a mistake. She had been scanning the window to try and find me, and as soon as we made eye contact she waved at me, causing everyone in the restaurant to either state at her, or as most people were stare at me. I don't even know how me and Hyo Rin became friends, we are polar opposites; She's pretty, I'm not; she's confident, I'm not; she's a good dancer, I'm not; she's popular, I'm not. We became friends when we were younger and because we went to the same schools we were always together. She made lots of other friends, and I made a few other close friends, but not as close as her. Surprisingly despite all of these good points about her she didn't have a boyfriend. It's not because no one had asked her out, because people have, but unfortunately for the unlucky guy, she is in love with someone in EXO, her bias Chanyeol.

I walked in through the commotion and sat opposite her. Taking out my headphones, I asked her if she'd ordered anything. "No" she replied "I was waiting for you"
We went up to the til and ordered our food, paid and then collected it and went and sat back down. While eating, we began talking about the silly stuff best friends do talk about, like movies we want to see, songs we like and Dramas. Hyo Rin doesn't understand why I listen to bands like fall out boy and Paramore, because they sing in English, however I'm learning English and have passed my English Exams so I can speak a basic level of fluency in it, so I can understand some of the songs. Then she started the argument that one ok rock are Japanese and I can't understand them, to which I reply that they do sing in English a lot, and any way I like the music. However I'm only allowed to speak about music once she has finished talking about EXO. Personally, I don't hate EXO as I respect them as artists, but I like to listen to music that has feeling, and of the songs I've listened to I haven't found a lot of feeling, maybe that's because I've only listened to their most popular songs, like "Call me baby".

Suddenly Hyo Rin goes quiet. I'm about to carry on speaking when she puts a finger to my lips. "shhhh" she ushers me.
"Listen"
I look around wondering what I'm meant to be listening too, when I hear it. EXO's new song, "Love Me Right" I believe has begun playing.

Take your time

I look back at her in disbelief. Fangirls I think to myself. Since I'm not going to be able to talk to her while this song is on I go back to eating. Suddenly her face contorts into a scary smile. I guess it's Chanyeols part. I had never learnt the names of the members of EXO, however it's not hard to remember someone who your best friend talks about everyday. I listen to his rap part. His voice is deep and rough, and has a familiar feeling. While I continued eating I had been listening to the song. After it finished I told her "You know, it's not that bad, I liked it"
The scary smile returned, I shouldn't have told her my opinion. "Ok you really need to stop doing that if you want Chanyeol to fall in love with you" I say through a laugh.

We leave McDonalds and decide on where we want to go next. My pocket buzzes, and I reach into it to grab my phone. It's Lee Chan Hee, a close friend I made in high school

I was just wondering if me and So Hyun could join you and Hyo Rin because we're bored :)

Yo So Hyun was also another close friend I had made. "Hyo Rin, Chan Hee and So Hyun were wondering if they could join us" I ask her
"Yeah they can join us" Hyo Rin replied. She also had her phone out and was probably texting some other friends she had. I replied to Chan Hee

Yeah you can. We're just outside of the McDonalds we always meet at

"Well, we're going to have to wait here for a bit for them" I told Hyo Rin. She smiled
"That's ok"
We sat on the bench opposite the McDonalds and kept our eyes open for them. We continued with our conversation about Kdramas. A couple of months ago EXO had stated in a drama called EXO next door, and of course Hyo Rin had watched it. Chanyeol was one of the main stars of the drama, and one of the main love interests of the girl, Yeonhee. I listened to her talk about Chanyeol for about five minutes before Chan Hee and So Hyun walked up to us. Chan Hee also likes EXO, and when I first introduced her to Hyo Rin, they hit it off immediately because they had something in common. So Hyun liked most types of music and was open to anything. She did like EXO, but also liked the bands I liked as well, so we all had something to talk to about with her. She was already friends with Chan Hee as they went to the same elementary school.
Me and Hyo Rin stood up and asked them where they wanted to go. We didn't really know what we wanted to do, we just liked hanging out together. Chan Hee suggested going clothes shopping, to which we all said yes.

Our favourite clothes shop wasn't that far away from where we were. It was in the same direction that the strange man dressed in black went, the same way as the SM building. As we passed by the SM building, they all stopped. All of them wished to be under the company. Each of them had different talents: Chan Hee and Hyo Rin were amazing dancers and So Hyun was an amazing singer.
"Come on guys do we want to get there any time soon?" I asked them, snapping them out of their day dreams.
"Yes.. Let's go" Chan Hee quickly said.
We were about to walk away, with me in the front, when Hyo Rin screamed.
"HYO RIN ARE YOU BEING ATTACKED I'M HERE I'LL HELP" So Hyun screamed and jumped in front of her, arms ready to attack anyone who came close.

"NO LOOK" Hyo Rin pointed to the front of the SM building
