Chapter 5: shall we eat

Chris hums softly, finishing off buttoning his shirt. Someone knocks on the door and Chris responds with simple "Come in." 

Ross enters with his devious plan in place. "Hello Chris I came into inform you of a small happening last night." Chris turns to him curious while slipping on his tie.

"Last night that Luma girl was in the hallway, going into Alex's room, and then locking the door." Chris clenches his jaw.

Luma's pov: 

I walked to Kyla's room and opened the door. "Kyla?" The room was empty and the bed was untouched. Strange. I walked down the hall to Alex's room thinking he might know where she is. I knocked and opened the door. .........

Well I found her. With Alex, 

Naked

In bed

You know 

"Kyla, we will be having a special brunch with the mothers." I say before leaving and closing the door. 

"Luma?" I turn to see Chris.

"I told you." Ross says before leaving. I feel confused. "Excuse me what's going on." 

"Did you sleep with Alex." WHAT OH HELL NO. I start laughing, and he watches as a flustered Kyla open the door. She blushes running to her room.

"I was looking for Kyla and found her in there." I say. Chris still looks confused. "But weren't you going into his room last night." 

"To return my glove I dropped." Alex says peeking from a crack in the door. Chris sighs and says "ok I thought you were the one that was screwing with him." I smile slightly, laughing a bit. I walk past him and he whispers "I got worried sorry." 

"Got worried about what." I asked. He blushes slightly and says "I just got worried." I kiss his cheek before walking away. I walk into my room to find Kaeyi, Kim and my mom. 

"There you are, now come on we have to get you ready." Kaeyi says. "What's with the blush and smiled." I sit down in my chair.

"Nothing." I say. 

~~~~time skip~~~~

I walk with my mother to the garden. "I talked to Marie Trott, she is one of the kindest women, ever." My mom says. Kaeyi braided my hair, and but only mascara on for the brunch. She also put me in a beige casual dress that covers my chest up until my neck and goes down to just above my knee and has no sleeves. She also put me in beige heels to match. 

My mom is wearing a blue skirt with matching blazer and white blouse. She also wears blue heels. 

 "Also this is the fanciest I've been dress for anything involving breakfast." She says laughing. I sigh and say "yeah I know." We walk outside to the garden to find Haru and a women who looks identical to her, sitting at the table enjoying tea. The women tooks way older and has grey hairs and is wrinkled. 

"Hey Haru." I say she looks up from her tea and gives a small smile. I sit down with my mother, and the awkward silence begins.

"This is my grandmother." Haru says shyly, expecting to get hit if she talks to loudly. Her grandmother gives a small nod and takes another sip of her tea. I go to introduce my mother but I get interrupted as the boys mothers walk in. They look more intimidating then there sons.

"Isn't there suppose to be another one of you." Lady Sabrina says sitting down at the table. I nod and say "Yes but I think she's late." She nods, and says "those stylist can sometimes go over board. The other two ladies, lady Marie, and lady Darlene. Lady Sabrina is Ross's mom who is as much of a snake as her son. Lady Marie is Chris's mother, she is quite kind like her son, yet I'm still afraid to cross her. Lady Darlene, is the scariest. Her grey eyes seem like they threaten to stab you at any moment. The next thing I knew Kyla comes in trying to be quiet.

"It's useless to be quiet when we know your late." Kyla nods and walks in, in her pink dress. Darlene studies her very carefully. 

"I'm sorry, I overslept, your graces." She says trying to apologize properly. They nod, and she sits down.

"Did no one in your family want to come." Darlene asks. Kyla keeps her head down. 

"None of them came at all." She says. The room goes silent. "What whys that wouldn't a family want to live in luxury, and watch their daughter marry." Darlene says again. Marie gives her a look along with Sabrina. "Their dead." Kyla says. Darlene places both her lips together and sits down. It would be disappointing on the wedding day to see no one in the brides side of the seats. All of her family just gone.

"Well then." Sabrina says, mixing her tea. 

"Shall we eat."

Welp now that that's done *wipes hands together* maybe expect another chapter depending on my mood.
