"Embrace the unknown: trying new things opens doors to new experiences and opportunities."

Her mother spoke up, "But aren't you supposed to marry Alexandra?" Her father's eyes locked onto us, his gaze fixated on us as we anxiously awaited his response. He paused for a moment before stating, "I will give you my answer once we finish dinner," his intense stare still lingering.
"Meet me at my office after." He spoke coldly, but I didn't care about his tone, I cared about his answer. I look at Viella worried and mad at the same time, how do I know? Her facial expression says so.
After dinner, it started raining loudly and it was getting late. I Followed Mr. Starling to his office and when we stepped inside, I closed the door and clicked the lights on as he took a seat on his office chair... I stepped forward towards the front of his desk
"You are engaged with Alexandra right?"
"I did not agree on the engagement" He glared at me
"You better not use Viella as a tool for your plan, as her father I'm worried about her entering this marriage with you due to our different social status" Mr.Starling spoke in a worried tone, he leaned on his chair and crossed his arms
"I don't intend to use your daughter as a tool father." I cleared my throat and corrected myself "I mean sir. This marriage would benefit your business, and I'm not implying that you should sell her off. I'm simply pointing out the advantages of her marrying me. It's also beneficial for both of our families."
He stayed silent, hesitant to his answer, I remained calm and patient "Alright," My eyes widened at his answer "I agree to the marriage, but I have a condition: you must never betray my daughter's feelings or harm her in any way. or else, the both of you will never see each other again. Do I have your word on that?"
A smile crept up to my face "Yes sir, I promise you, she's safe with me"
He nodded and looked at the window behind him "It's getting late, and it's also raining, You should stay here for the night, we have a guest room upstairs. Use it."
I nodded in response, he started to do his work, so I walked out of the room when I surprisingly saw Viella leaning on the wall next to the door. she flinched when she saw me and immediately fixed her posture.
"I didn't...hear anything," she said while avoiding my gaze on her "I swear, I didn't..." I didn't respond to her, completely distracted by how cute she reacted. Then she walked away, I followed behind her as she went upstairs. Viella realized and turned around to face me, and finally, she locked eyes with me "What are you following me around for?"
She crossed her arms and tilted her head up to stare at me "Speak up." She demands
"where's the guest room?" I respond plainly, is she still mad at me?
"There." she points at the door next to the room of her room, in short, were one room apart. I smiled at her, but I received a blazing gaze "Thank you Carmine" My footsteps echoed in the hallway as I made my way to that room, just as I was about to open the door, I was startled when she slammed her door closed.
Does she hate my confession that much? When I entered the room, the walls were white, and the comforter was red. The room was themed with white and red colors. It looked like it was designed by a woman. I should be glad that they let me stay below their roof, even if the colors don't suit my taste.
10:23 PM
I can't sleep, even when I turn off the lights, the stark whiteness of the walls appears to glow...I sighed before standing up from my bed. I should get water to help me sleep. Quietly slipping out of the room, I glanced towards Viella's door and noticed it was slightly ajar, with the warm glow of her lights into the hallway... I approached the door and knocked three times, I waited a moment, and when there was no response, I gently pushed the door open, my unease increasing.
