Viella

It has been a month, and my condition just got worse.

I always had a sudden headache, making Luciano worry more about me. So he bought a house, and we moved there, so I always had someone to help me. His father was against this because he wanted his son to marry a rich and wealthy lady due to their social status, but because of my future husband's stubbornness, he didn't listen.

Over time, our bond and connection deepened, and we grew comfortable with each other to the point he even flirts with me, I mean jokes, JOKES with me.

He gently held my hand with one of his while expertly maneuvering the vehicle with his other hand on the steering wheel, right now we are heading to the hospital for the result of the check-up because everyday Luciano never runs out of breath telling me to do the surgery which is cute and annoying at the same time.

"You didn't have to ditch your meeting just to come with me to the hospital" i said looking away, annoyed. he rubs his thumb on the back of my hand, i heard him scoffed before replying "We can arrange a meeting at any time, but it's important to consider my schedule, as I am engaged and have a commitment to my fiancé" i rolled my eyes before saying "you are being dramatic, you just don't want to work today" we both exchanged glances and he smiled at me before looking back to the road, forming a smirk on his face "you know me too well carmine, but i came along to see your condition."

I silently watch through the window as he plays with my hand, and we stayed like that for a few minutes until we arrived at the hospital... he got out of the car first and opened the car door for me, then i stepped out and held his hand as we went inside. The hospital seems packed today, because the halls and room are filled with patients and medical staff.  but amidst the crowd, i saw Aetheria helping a patient there as she smiled at them, i wanted to approach her but she seemed busy.

we knocked on Dr. Liams office before going in, he stared at the both of us before saying "I'd like to speak to miss viella...only. so, please wait outside." Luciano's eyebrows slightly furrowed "And why can't i stay? i'm also concerned about her state." Liam left no words for him to respond after that, making luciano leave the room, angerily.

Liam sighed and gestured me to sit at the opposite side of his desk, and then he sets up his computer for me to see the results of the CT scan "Unfortunately, there is only bad news," He points to the section of the result that highlights the area of the tumor. "As you can see, the tumor has spread," he explains, his voice solemn.

is..it exactly what it means..? i knew it would come to this point...but why am i still surprised? it's...so strange...am i really dying? but isn't this what i wanted?

Liam tapped my shoulder, making me snap back into the reality "if it's too much for you to handle, then i can call sir Luciano."  No...he can't find out...  "No need, i'm  fine, however...what exactly will happen now?" Liam looked at me and sighed "Well, it's sad to say that you only have 2 months left, and i advise you to take the surgery while you still have time miss Viella." I stayed silent and just nodded in response. after several minutes, i finally walked out of Liam's office and i saw Luciano waiting by the door "What did he say?" He asks, I forced a smile and Lied   "The tumor spreaded a bit and Dr. Liam told me to inform you so that i could have a surgery, immediately..."

His eyes looking at me, worriedly "And, what's your plan?" He asks knowing it would always be the same answer.. "I'll think about it."

I'm afraid of death, but i want it...
