Kira's Pov
I woke up with a start, my heart racing and my breath coming in fast, shallow gasps, like I'd just run a marathon. My body felt heavy, tangled in the blanket—and someone else. Panic flashed through me for a second before I realized I wasn't alone. I slowly turned my head and looked up, my pulse skipping when I saw the familiar face staring back at me, the one I never thought I'd see again, not like this.

"W-What are you doing here?" I stammered, my mind racing, trying to process how she could possibly be here—how we could be like this. My eyes quickly scanned the room, trying to make sense of it all. The sight of my own bedroom hit me like a wave, and for a moment, everything felt unreal. I couldn't quite piece it together. How had she gotten out of that place? And why were we practically naked under the same blanket? What the hell was happening?

"What's wrong, my love?" Her voice, soft and husky, wrapped around me like a warm embrace. The familiar sound of it sent a shiver through me, an unexpected flutter deep in my stomach. I could feel it, the way her words lingered in the air, as if they were meant for me alone.

"I asked, what are you doing here? How did you get here?" My voice was shaky, confusion thick in the air between us. I couldn't make sense of it.

She blinked, her gaze soft but steady. "What do you mean, how?" she replied, her tone a little playful, but laced with warmth. "We were practically making love just a few moments ago, before we both drifted off, exhausted from... well, everything."

Her words hit me like a wave, and for a split second, I froze. Was I dreaming? The room felt real, but something about it all seemed off. Was it possible? Had all of this been a dream? I stared at her, lost, trying to figure out if any of this was truly happening or if I was still caught in the haze of sleep.

"Hey, are you okay?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "Wait... did someone give you something to drink? I think you're high right now. You should just lie down and rest."

She was trying to be gentle, to reason with me, but it wasn't helping. I couldn't shake the whirlwind of confusion in my mind. I grabbed my head, the weight of it all pressing down on me. What was happening? Was I losing my grip on reality? I closed my eyes, desperately trying to focus, but the more I tried, the more everything seemed to slip further out of my reach.

"Kira? Hey, are you okay?" Her voice, once so comforting, started to fade away, leaving a growing emptiness in its wake. The silence that followed felt suffocating, and I felt a knot tighten in my chest. I opened my eyes, but all I saw was pitch black—nothingness stretching endlessly before me.

A sharp, deafening gunshot rang out from behind me, jolting me upright. Instinctively, I spun around, my heart hammering in my chest, panic flooding my mind. What I saw next froze me in place, a chill crawling up my spine.

It was me, holding the gun, watching Y/n kneel, blood pouring from her chest. My scream tore through the air as her lifeless body fell. Tears blurred my vision when I heard her voice behind me.

'Why did you betray me? Why did you give me so much pain?' she cried, her anguish cutting through me like a blade. I stepped toward her, desperate to explain, but Joan's chilling voice stopped me.

'Oh, so you fell in love with her? Betray me, and I kill the ones you love.' With that, he shoved Jenny into the path of a speeding car. Her name ripped from my throat as I watched helplessly, my world crumbling in an instant.

I woke up with a start, my body trembling as I sat in the chair, realizing I had dozed off in the control room. The warmth of sweat clung to my skin, my body still shaking from whatever dream—or nightmare—I had just experienced. My heart was racing, and I could still feel the remnants of fear creeping up my spine.
