WARNING: A bit gore-some near the end. + Bullying
The day was cloudy, a gloom was outside but yet kids still ran about outside laughing and playing even having toys out there and running out, hearing the laughter and joy as can hear a "thank you!" from a kid that was inside the building before leaving to go out and play with their friends, which the kid that was watching this watch them run out then looked to the older man who gave a toy to the kid that left, it being the kids father who noticed them looking so gloom giving a worried expression but had a soft smile of reassurance. "Oh, what's wrong my little maker? You're not feeling sick again are you?" The father went over to the kid which was not the case, they felt fine after all it just was... "...I wish I could play with those other kids too. But, they may find me weird." The kid spoke up, looking out the window worried, they do look different from a lot of the kids after all having an odd face that makes them scared of them for some reason, they aren't trying to scare anyone though. The father was worried about hearing that, bringing their kid a bit away from the window and was giving a smile to reassure them. "Oh don't worry now! I'm sure they will let you play with them! Here, let's pick a doll you can bring with you to try, let's see..." The father guided their kid over to one the shelves with all sorts of dolls, going through which the kid watched as the father then held up two dolls to their kid. "Do you want Stacy or Lucas?"
The father asked which the kid looked between both the dolls, looking at both trying to figure which but couldn't, looking to there father who realised quickly and quickly picked a different one from the two that was mostly of a purple coloration, different from the rest but yet was a pretty one at least to the kid. "What about this fellow?" "Perfect!" The kid exclaimed after the father asked, getting hold of the doll and studied the doll, though looked confused now for a moment, each doll normally has a spot somewhere that says there name, but this one had none for no spot could be found not even secret spot says a name at all, making the kid look at the father. "Why does this doll not have a name?" The kid asked which the father smiled when hearing that. "That's because I'm letting you name them! It can be anything you want!" The father answered the kids question which upon hearing that made the kid smile, though now had to think of a name. The kid thought for a moment, thinking of all sorts of possibilities which soon they studied it and thought of something that although it's random it could work.
"Slondo, that can work!" The kid answered which the father chuckled upon hearing it. "Well that's a great name! Now you and Slondo can go out and have some fun, don't worry, I will be right here!" The father smiled while the kid wasted no time, holding onto their doll Slondo and ran out to see if they could try to play with any of the kids out there as the father watched the kid dash on. The kid went out holding Slondo close seeing a group of kids and quietly walked over to the group which they all looked at the kid upon seeing them. "Uhm... Can I play too?" The kid asked which made the other kids look at one another. "Uhm. What kind of doll is that?" One the kids in pink asked which the kid looked down and back at them holding Slondo closer. "Well, it's my doll Slondo... My father made it!" The kid answered which the other kids looked more confused and concerned. "What kind of name is that?" A kid in blue asked, "It looks creepy!" a kid in yellow followed, "It looks tasty..." a kid in orange said which one the kids laughed hearing it while the other kids seemed annoyed by that a little. "Your doll is too scary! We don't even want to play with someone like you!" The kid in pink spoke up again as the group moved away from the kid who stood there, watching them all walk away and held Slondo closer to them as they walked off, though one the kids looked back for a second wanting to say something but yet was quickly pulled to follow with them from the kid in blue which left them alone. A few other kids in the area even caught sight of this and moved further away as well, which left the kid alone now. Just staring down to look at Slondo before running inside back into the doll shop their father works at, quickly dashing to behind the counter and off into the back to be away from things, hearing their father try to stop them but yet couldn't. The kid held their doll closer though even despite this, their doll isn't ugly, nor scary, they're strange but perfect to them, just like how they are.
The father was giving them a moment even at that had a customer come in which the kid noticed and which the kid did, just leaving them to watch out the small window that is there in the back with all the different parts of dolls and all watching the gloomy sky and all the other kids be happy with their groups while they're alone. The kid watched till paused as they watched, seeing a darkness in the sky, almost like a heavy shadow there but it's not? It's hard to tell what was there but once it showed that's when screams were heard from outside, seeing kids run, running to their homes in fear seeing fire hit the ground from where they were and burning out once it landed. Making the kid quickly look to where there father was, seeing the father be confused seeing the customer run out, but yet was when suddenly the place was struck with fire quickly coming in from several sides, like fire was being thrown at it from each side, making the kid notice that even other houses were getting the same treatment from something that the kid only slightly saw to be orange, but couldn't fully see for rubble fell down, making the kid rush away to dodge, holding there doll close upon this.
Then can hear there father shout to them, making the kid look seeing the father trying to get to them which as the kid reached out that's when rubble fell onto the kids arm making them pulled back and be stuck, there doll fallen onto there lap as to try and reach for there father, who was trying to break through but stuff was falling onto there father during this seeing the blood stain all over him and him beating himself up to try and save there kid but was yet struggling, which the kid tried but rubble fell in front of them getting there other arm being trapped in it, the kid tried to pull out but it felt there arms were stuck or stretching to bad, making them panic and look around for some sort of hope while tears began to emerge from their eyes. "DAD!?? DAD HELP PLEASE!" The kid cried out trying to get free but couldn't, hearing no movement and as he tried to see through the rubble it was yet impossible to tell what was happening on the other side. The kid kept trying which yet made them look to the window that seeing through its rubble the shadow was closer to it being so hard to tell through the flames but it was clearly some sort of figure so distorted and yet hard to tell what they are which then the kid saw some colour from this figure seeing the colours red, green, blue and... but couldn't see the rest as the rubble that was above came crashing down and... darkness fell after that. Darkness and a feeling of all air leaving their body as they...
"Slondo?" A voice echoed through their head which yet suddenly made them snap back to reality now away from that memory, causing them to look over. "Hey Slondo! You looked a little lost in thought for a second there, you okay?" Their friend asked, right, right the memory, the memory that made them that almost the same doll they had, just with strangely long arms but... it was that, though they don't want their friend to worry. Slondo then made a shape with their arms to tell them they are all okay while their friend smiled softly upon hearing that. "Alright, good! I want to make sure! Now, come on! Let's go help out the rest in decorating for new years!" Their friend quickly got hold of their arm and began to guide the way, which Slondo began to follow, although the memories of then stain their mind and come back now and then, they don't affect now, they got friends now after all. Even if they don't remember their name and all they remember is the tragedies, things are better now even then, even if they are just a little different.
