MEHWISH POV

I got ready and looked at myself in the mirror and my eyes went near my necklace that was hanging in my neck it was the necklace that shahzain had gifted me when he had proposed me since then there wasn't a time I removed it from my neck.

I caressed it and looked down and my eyes fell on my engagement ring which I had removed the  minutes he put it in my finger.

And since then there wasn't a day I wore it that ring didn't even stay in my finger a day I had worn it only for two hours I still remember that night how much I had cried only I knew it how each and every minute I was praying that shahzain would come and take me away from here.

But I was the one to blame I didn't deserve him maybe he actually deserves someone better unlike me who is ugly and weak and good for nothing.

I flinched when the door opened I came out of my thoughts and immediately put the necklace inside my dress.

"Come down already" my brother spoke and went away and I sighed and got up and went down and I sat in the car.

The driver drove the car and we reached the place I went and took my seat and looked around thinking maybe I took a wrong seat as Ayan was nowhere to be found.

I took out my phone and called him he didn't pick up the call I sighed and just sat there a waiter came and asked if I wanted something I just told him to bring a glass of water.

I drank the water and kept the glass on the table and I saw Ayan entered with a very annoyed look on his face.

He came and sat in front of me and spoke "why the heck did you call me".

I looked at him in disbelief and spoke "Ayan it's better if you watch the tone you speak and you know today we had a date and I came here I didn't find you so I called you".

He took a deep breath and told nothing instead called the waiter and told me to order food I ordered some pasta as I actually didn't have a mood to eat and even he ordered some rice item.

And we ate our foods in complete silence and once we were done we came out of the restaurant and started to walk on the road I looked at him and my eyes went on his collar it had a lipstick stain.

My eyes widened I stopped walking even he stopped walking and I spoke "where were you went I called you?".

He looked at me and spoke "can't you see my attire I was working why".
"Ooh so you mean you are starting a new company where you work with lipsticks" I spoke while I saw how he got angry.

"Mehwish watch the way you talk to me" he spoke I chuckled and spoke "so you mean you are engaged with me and you go play around with some other girl and I should watch the way I speak wow that's g..*slap*

"You know what I had enough of your shit and yea that lipstick stain is my girlfriend who I actually love I didn't even want to marry you or get engaged to you in the first place but I just had to cause my dad didn't like my girlfriend and he had blocked my cards but now I'm free I don't need to play this shitty game and you just wait and watch there is a surprise for you at the wedding" he spoke and left while I was just laying down on the road being all blank as he had just slapped me but all I could do was smile while a tear ran down my face I wiped my eyes and was about to get up when someone held my shoulder and helped me stand up.

"Are you okay " he spoke I just nodded my head and whispered loudly enough for him to hear "thank you".

I looked up to see who this gentleman was but I regret my whole existence my heart started to race my body stop function I felt my brain go numb it was him— Shahzain I felt my breath getting heavy all the tears that were in the corner of my eyes started to whose out of my eyes I stop blinking looking at him still processing and was trying to accept it that he was in front of me.
