I sat on the warm sand staring intently at my husband and child. They were building a sandcastle. "Berry big castle", according to my two year old daughter Leila. She looked so much like her father at that moment that it seemed as if she were a complete copy of him except for the boy part. Their sandy golden blonde hair shined brightly in the dangerous summer sun, comparing to the way a bright yellow flower looks when it recently blooms. Their award winning smiles and giggles left a huge smile plastered onto my face, and when they both called me over to help i didn't dare say no.
I quickly crawled away from the blanket beneath the umbrella and made my way between my loves. I give a quick kiss on the forehead to Leila who stuck her tongue out at Ashton and i joined her in taunting him for not receiving a kiss from me. He immediately pouted, leaving both me and Leila laughing like crazy. Once our laughing craze was over we walked over the badly made sandcastle and kissed Ashton on the cheek, but him being his daredevil self when it comes to getting what he wants, he turned his head exactly when i was going to plant a kiss on his cheek leaving me kissing his lips instead.
"EWWW! DADDY GROSS!"
"EWWW BABY GROSS!" Leila pouted, crossed her arms, and stomped under the umbrella.
"Baby come back! Baby come back to me, COME BACK!!!" Ashton's little solo caused a grin to appear on Leila's face. That song is Leila's favourite ever since she was born. Ashton sings that song to her whenever its nap time, when she was walking, and when she was running. Its like her theme song since shes always on the go. Ashton crawled under the umbrella and pulled Leila onto his lap as he kept singing into her ear.
"Lub you daddy"
"Love you too princess"
I didnt know back then that things would change. All i knew was happiness.
Alrighty then. Idk about you guys but i think this chapter was cute af. BTW shoutout to @benjaunicorn5sos cuz shes awesome and a big reason why theres a sequel. Thanks for giving me confidence in my writing ^w^
